Jay's Pov
I was really bored but I can't do anything, because if I do something and he comes to get to know about this, then he will definitely will not take me out,
So I decided to just freshen up and just watch a movie,
So I went to his closet to steal his hoodie, It has become a habit of mine which he started, and now he finds annoying since I keep stealing them all, but I didn't care and I think he just acts annoyed and doesn't really mind.
I was searching for a particular hoodie but my eyes caught something else, a photo album, I know I shouldn't take it without his permission but I do it any way because its Keifer.
I start looking at the album, it was filled with his childhood photos, there were baby photos of Keifer, he was looking so cute and chubby, which made me awe of him.
and photos of him with his mother, I think he probably treasured these, I felt bad for what he had to go through, no one should go through what he went through,
I know he still miss his mother,
Then I found something that is more valuable, it was Keifer dressed as a girl in his childhood, I laughed looking at it, it looked cute and funny at the same time,
I took pictures of it and decide to use it later,
and after That I freshened and wore his hoodie and decided to talk with my assistant and ask updates and assign her work and decided to watch the movie and in the middle,
I got texts from Keifer checking from time to time,
And it was finally time for him to come, I called him,
Keifer: "I am almost there"
he said and was inside in few minutes,
Keifer: "You are stealing my hoodies again"
I just showed him face and he chuckled and I started to walk and in the middle by mistake I slipped, Oh no this guy is going to make a scene again I thought to myself,
Keifer: "Jay, you have to be more carefull, this is why I said you have to rest more"
Jay: "I just slipped by mistake, its not a big deal"
Keifer: "No,no, I think its better if we just stay here"
Jay: "Ahnn Keifer, I will go insane if I stay inside" I started to whine,
Keifer: "Okay Okay but" he said and lifted me off the ground and I squealed,
Jay: "Hey, what are you doing?"
Keifer: "Keeping you alive" I know this guy is not going to let me down, so I locked my arms around his neck for support,
He took me to his car and slowly place me in the passenger seat,
Then he moved forward to make me wear the seat beat, he was close, too close, His face was close to mine,
We have been close like this before in many situations but I haven't felt like this before, now my heart is beating fastly,
But he has no clue he is still putting my seatbelt.
Then he turned towards me and looked me in the eye briefly for few seconds and so did I,
It felt different, his eyes I saw something I couldn't put it into words,
Then he moved quickly and cleared his Throat and went to the passenger seat, and settled there,
Jay: "So where are we going?"
Keifer: "You'll see."
Jay: "Whatever I am just happy to leave the house." And he just chuckles when I say that,
And then keeps driving,
And in the middle I don't know why I keep stealing glances at him,
And he takes me almost out of the city,
Where it is peaceful and almost no one is around, there was only a small food cart,
He stopped there and I looked at him,
Jay: "This is the place?"
He nodds and gets out, and come towards my door opens it and gives me his hand and I take his hand for support,
I walk with his support and we go in front of his car,
Keifer: "Sit"
I get confused because there wasn't any chair,
Jay: "Where?"
He does not reply instead he lifts me up and I squeal and he laughs
And place me in the hood of the car and still laughs,
Keifer: "Wait for me I'll get something for you."
He says and come back with 2 ice cream in his hand and hands over one to me, and joins me in the hood of the car
Jay: "Thanks."
He nods while having his ice cream,
We did not talk much while having the ice cream, but it was peaceful and some how that's what I need right, I felt at peace after going through so much of chaos,
It was nice after a long time, to just sit in absolute silence and have someone who just makes it more peaceful and light just by being there, when everything else feels heavy.
And we finished the ice cream and was still sitting there for some more time, neither of us wanted to leave,
Then after sometime, Keifer looked at me asked,
Keifer: "Shall we leave?"
I nodded and he helped me with the seat again,
Then I noticed something in the dashboard, it looked shiny like an invitation,
I was curious, So I took it,
Jay: "What is this?"
I asked and looked at him,
He looked at invite and tried to get it from me, I pulled it back,
Keifer: "Jay, it's nothing, give it to me."
But I read it before he could get it from,
Jay: "Annual Charity Gala, Hosted by Watson Enterprises."
He sighed,
Keifer: "Jay it's nothing."
Jay: "What do you mean? You are hosting a charity gala and you didn't even tell me or invite me." I gave him a funny heartbroken expression,
He took the invite from me,
Keifer: "It's hosted by my Dad and the whole company."
Jay: "Oh." I said and paused because I knew this was a sensitive subject,
He fell silent,
Jay: "Are you going to go?"
He looked at me before replying,
Keifer: "No, way, he just does this remind me he exist and make me miserable."
Jay: "But you shouldn't let him affect you, after what he has done, he should be ashamed of himself for what he did ."
Keifer: "Jay, I don't want to talk about this right now."
And he looked tired and exhausted, So I did not want tire him more, but I was determined to make him face his father and get over all this,
But for now I just nodded and he took off the car.

Also guys this story comes to an end once Jay realises her Love for Keifer, and I have already written that chapter but still few things have to happen before that. ❤️
