Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 – Gryffindor’s New Problem

Logan had no objections to being sorted into Ravenclaw.

Honestly, it suited his personality rather well.

But just as the Sorting Hat prepared to announce its final decision, the battered old hat suddenly twitched violently atop his head. Then, strangely enough, it tilted slightly toward the staff table where Dumbledore sat watching calmly.

A second later, the Sorting Hat shouted loudly:

"GRYFFINDOR!"

The entire house table erupted into applause instantly.

Professor McGonagall's expression brightened visibly.

Excellent.

From the very beginning, she had hoped Logan Anderson would join Gryffindor. There was no way she would have been happy watching him disappear into another house.

Fortunately, destiny had made the correct choice.

Meanwhile, Hermione clapped enthusiastically from the Gryffindor table until her palms turned red.

At the Slytherin table, Draco Malfoy watched Logan walking toward Gryffindor with an expression so unnatural it looked almost tragic.

"Hmph," Draco muttered quietly. "Logan Anderson… you've missed your final opportunity to reconcile with me by refusing Slytherin."

He stabbed his steak viciously.

"Just wait."

Completely unaware of Draco's internal emotional drama, Logan casually sat down beside Hermione.

He barely settled into his seat before two older students immediately approached him with identical mischievous grins.

"Hello there!" one of them announced brightly.

"My name's Fred Weasley," said the other.

"And I'm George."

"No, wait, I'm George."

"Actually, now I'm confused too."

The twins burst into laughter simultaneously before leaning closer toward Logan.

"Anyway," Fred continued, "nice to meet you, Logan Anderson."

"And just so you know," George added solemnly, "we'd appreciate it if people stopped mixing us up."

Logan stared at the famous twin troublemakers with a complicated expression.

Fred and George Weasley.

Two future legends of chaos.

Fortunately, Logan possessed excellent emotional intelligence.

Rather than acting awkwardly, he smiled naturally.

"Don't worry," he replied calmly. "I'm going to be living here for the next seven years. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually."

Then he added casually:

"And honestly, having more friends doesn't sound like a bad thing."

That single sentence immediately won the twins over.

Over the next several minutes, Logan smoothly entered full social mode. Since he already knew countless stories regarding Fred and George's future exploits, holding a conversation with them proved ridiculously easy.

Very quickly, the atmosphere became lively.

Fred slapped the table dramatically.

"Why can't our younger brother be this interesting?" he demanded.

George nodded seriously.

"Exactly. Same parents. Same household. Yet somehow Ron turned out completely boring."

Nearby, Ron silently lowered his head and continued eating while questioning his life choices internally.

Honestly, having these two as brothers felt exhausting.

[Ding.]

[Mission Generated.]

Mission Objective: Gryffindor's Rising Star

Mission Description:You have officially entered Hogwarts and joined Gryffindor House, a place famous for recklessness and troublemaking.

That doesn't matter.

Your excellence will inevitably attract attention. Tomorrow's classes will become your first true stage.

Impress the professors.

Amaze the students.

Become the brightest new star of Gryffindor.

Mission Reward:Legendary Point ×1Magic Enhancement Potion ×1

Logan's eyes instantly lit up.

Perfect timing.

He had been worrying constantly about how to acquire more Legendary Points quickly, and now the system practically handed him another opportunity on a silver platter.

Even better, this mission included an additional reward:

A potion capable of increasing magical power.

That alone sounded extremely valuable.

Unable to stop himself, Logan grinned happily.

Harry noticed immediately.

"What's got you so excited?" Harry asked curiously. "Did something happen?"

Logan snapped out of his thoughts and shook his head.

"Nothing important," he replied smoothly. "I just remembered something funny."

Harry looked deeply unconvinced.

...

A little while later, Logan suddenly felt someone observing him quietly.

He looked up instinctively.

Across the Great Hall, Albus Dumbledore met his gaze calmly.

The elderly wizard smiled kindly.

Logan remained perfectly relaxed.

After all, the system had already proven itself capable of blocking Legilimency entirely. As long as the secrets inside his mind remained hidden, there was nothing for him to fear.

He was merely an innocent little wizard.

So Logan smiled back naturally.

Then, in an act of absurd confidence, he casually raised his goblet of pumpkin juice toward Dumbledore in a silent toast before draining it completely.

The gesture was so unexpectedly mature that Dumbledore looked both amused and helpless for a moment.

Eventually, the headmaster shifted his attention elsewhere.

More specifically—

Toward Harry Potter sitting beside Logan.

Harry, meanwhile, remained completely unaware of Dumbledore's thoughtful gaze.

In the wizarding world, Harry Potter was practically a living legend already. Lily Potter's sacrificial protection had somehow caused Voldemort's downfall, turning Harry into a symbol of hope for countless people.

Logan genuinely believed Harry deserved the admiration.

If not for him, Britain might have become a nightmare years ago.

Still…

Logan could not help thinking one thing.

Voldemort truly lacked dignity as a final villain.

The man literally failed while attacking a baby.

Forget Dark Lord status—at that point, even ordinary movie villains probably looked more competent.

Honestly, if you lose a duel against an infant, perhaps villainy simply isn't your profession.

Eventually, the feast came to an end.

Dumbledore slowly rose from the staff table and flicked his wand lightly. Instantly, all remaining food vanished from the tables.

Then the headmaster addressed the hall.

"Now that everyone has eaten," he began warmly, "I would like to say a few words before the new term officially begins."

The Great Hall gradually quieted.

"Firstly, students are not permitted to use magic within the corridors between classes."

"Secondly, Mr Filch has asked me to remind everyone that several items have been added to the list of forbidden objects this year."

Some older students groaned immediately.

Dumbledore continued calmly.

"Most importantly, all students are strictly forbidden from entering the Forbidden Forest."

His expression became more serious.

"And I do mean strictly forbidden. This applies equally to older students as well."

At that statement, several reckless Gryffindors looked even more interested than before.

"Should anyone choose to ignore this warning," Dumbledore added mildly, "the consequences will be… unpleasant."

Afterwards, he briefly discussed class schedules, Quidditch trials, and various school arrangements.

To ordinary students, Dumbledore's warnings sounded intimidating.

To certain individuals…

They sounded inspirational.

Fred and George already stood beside Logan whispering excitedly about future plans involving chaos, explosions, and highly questionable decision-making.

Logan watched the twins thoughtfully before sighing internally.

Honestly, if he were Dumbledore, he would monitor these two twenty-four hours a day.

Their talent for causing trouble bordered on supernatural.

What a headache.
