The villagers know their wooden gate won't stand up to anything so they poured out to the entrance with spears and swords. The spearmen stood at the back while the swordmen stood at the front.
"A very strategic formation." Azaroth noted.
Stallus nodded in reply. "But a failed one, they can't really counter anything from mounted enemies. The trouble will be the Initiate level, really."
And just as she said, the villagers didn't stand a chance as Azaroth's warriors poured over them. Spears were raised and some found home in the flesh of their opponents but most were slapped away and the claws from the monster cat tore into them while the mounted warriors slashed with sword.
The front of the gate was soon cleared and Azaroth together with Catena began to follow them behind.
