Chapter 51 - How Should I Call Him?

Meanwhile after kissing in flight, Andrew mood has awoken a little, and he was just going to play with her, but she stopped him.

And her words even pour water on his feelings, when she said, "Don't try to cross your limit and make me angry. I still have that thing you wrote when you were drunk last time."

Hearing this, Andrew became shocked.

"Scar, I wrote that 'suicide note' on a whim. Why don't you delete it?" But she didn't reply back.

As soon as they got off the plane, Andrew thought about tricking Scarlett into deleting the screenshot of that "suicide note."

But Scarlett wasn't that easy to fool; she flatly refused.

"I'm not deleting it. It depends on your behavior. We'll talk about it later."

"Then can you let me take a look at it?"

"No."

He really hadn't expected to see the three shades of Scarlett. First the serious and aloof Professor Scarlett, was so much dominating in the sex session, and like it, when Andrew called her mommy. Second, she is such a mischievous woman. And third, how easily she became serious and innocent, like it was all Andrew's fault.

Feeling like he was about to cry but had no tears, Andrew took out a hot dog bun, preparing to eat it to tide himself over.

"Where did you get that bread?" In the blink of an eye, Scarlett turned around to see a bun suddenly appear in Andrew's hand.

"From my bag. I stuffed one in while I was packing."

"Oh."

"Scar, do you want some?"

Scarlett wanted to take it, but on second thought, she figured Andrew might be trying to butter her up so she would delete the screenshot.

"No, I'm not hungry."

Gurgle—

Just as Scarlett finished speaking, her stomach let out an uncooperative growl, making her purse her lips in embarrassment.

"You're really not eating?" Andrew asked again.

"No."

Scarlett turned her head away to show her resolve. Since she had already said she wasn't hungry, she definitely wouldn't eat.

"Then I'll eat it."

Andrew didn't think much of it. Just as he opened his mouth to take a bite, he suddenly felt like he was being stared at.

He glanced sideways and saw Scarlett staring intently at the bun in his hand. Her sharp gaze even held a hint of anger, as if saying, "Are you really going to eat it?"

Remembering that in the end, he always needs to return Scarlett's bed, it was not good to make her angry.

"Scar, you should eat it. I had the meal on the plane, so I'm not very hungry."

Scarlett took the bun and added before eating, "I'm still not deleting the screenshot."

"Uh..."

The two left the airport together. Andrew knew that Scarlett got hungry easily and loved to eat. After traveling for so long, and with it being dark now, she was surely starving.

"Scar, how about we have dinner first?"

"No, let's keep going first."

"What's wrong? Are you in a hurry?"

"No, it's because the food in this area is both expensive and terrible."

Expensive was acceptable, but tasting bad was a cardinal sin.

After waiting by the roadside for a while, they got into a ride-hailing car.

"To the Second Ring Road."

"You got it."

Listening to the conversation between Scarlett and the driver, Andrew couldn't help but feel slightly surprised.

He knew a bit about the capital. Out-of-town cars needed a permit to enter the city, and even then, they couldn't enter the Second Ring Road.

Furthermore, property prices within the Second Ring Road were out of reach for most people. Those who lived there were either extremely wealthy or of high status.

The driver was an elderly man who was quite friendly. He chatted with the two of them while driving.

"You're a local, aren't you, young lady? Whereabouts in the Second Ring Road do you live?"

"The Berlin area."

"Oh, what a coincidence! My wife and I live there too. You must be coming back during the holiday to visit your elders."

"Yes." Scarlett gave a soft hum in response, her eyes fixed on the colorful night scenery outside the window.

The driver seemed to notice that Scarlett wasn't in a great mood, so he started chatting with Andrew, saying with a smile, "Young man, your girlfriend seems unhappy. Aren't you going to comfort her?"

Hearing that, Andrew felt, driver was telling right, he quickly put his hand on her leg, started rubbing it, trying to comfort her.

But Scarlett didn't show any reaction, she was just looking outside the window as if she didn't feel his hand on her leg.

"Sir, it's so late. Why are you still working as a ride-hailing driver?" Andrew asked, changing the subject.

He also found it a bit strange. Logically, this old man's pension alone should be more than enough to live on.

"I've got nothing else to do. Being a driver lets me get out and look around."

Along the way, Andrew and the driver chatted and laughed. Upon learning that Andrew was a student at a prestigious university, the man didn't forget to urge him to study hard.

"Young man, you still have to work hard even if you're at a top school. It's going to be very difficult to marry your girlfriend."

Andrew replied with a smile, "I'll work hard." While thinking, 'Who cares since she is so rich.'

Scarlett continued to look out the window without making a sound, but in her heart, she silently answered the driver's words.

"Did he dare to step back, I will break his leg."

The driver dropped them off near the Second Ring Road and stopped by the roadside. "It'll be faster for you to walk from here. Traffic is heavy at night; driving would be a nightmare."

"Alright, thank you, sir."

After getting out, Scarlett pulled her suitcase and said to Andrew beside her, "Let's go."

"Scar, am I going straight home with you?"

Andrew looked around, suddenly realizing this issue.

"Otherwise? There are no hotels around here. You can't exactly sleep on the street." Scarlett said coolly, as if it were no big deal.

While it wasn't impossible for Andrew to take a taxi to find a hotel, it was his first time in the capital. He was unfamiliar with the place, what if he got lost? It was more reassuring for her to keep him by her side. And most importantly, if he will not live with her, she doubts that some girls will abduct him.

But this was already starting to be painful for Andrew. Even though he was prepared to meet her parents, he still felt he needed to do some preparations.

Noticing Andrew's expression, Scarlett added a sentence to put his mind at ease. "It's just my grandmother at home. She's a very nice person."

Hearing that it was only Scarlett's grandmother, Andrew immediately felt much more relaxed, 'Thanks god, they are not her parents, or how will I convince them, since he was also younger than Scarlett."

The two of them walked together toward Berlin.

Many old houses in the Second Ring Road had been demolished and renovated into small buildings.

Various luxury cars, rarely seen on ordinary days, were everywhere here.

After walking a considerable distance, even the small Western-style buildings disappeared, replaced by single-story old houses. Turning a corner, the road immediately became narrow, and Andrew knew they had entered Berlin.

Scarlett arrived at a small house and opened the door. Andrew had thought Scarlett's grandmother lived in such a tiny house, which would be far too cramped. How would he and Scarlett stay there?

But the moment he stepped inside, he finally understood what "a world within a world" meant.

A spacious little courtyard appeared before him. The entrance was in front, and the other three sides were each lined with a small room.

Scarlett's grandmother, Janet, heard the noise and came out. When she saw Scarlett, a smile immediately appeared on her weathered face.

"Little Scar is back!"

"Yes." Scarlett nodded with a smile.

Just as Andrew was about to greet her, a middle-aged man suddenly walked out from the inner room.

Even Scarlett was slightly stunned. "Uncle, why are you here?"

"I came back to keep your grandmother company too. You should have told me you were coming back so I could pick you up."

Scarlett's uncle, Rockson, was speaking happily, but when he saw Andrew standing next to his beautiful niece, his face instantly darkened.

At the same time, Andrew stiffened on the spot.

Crap! Didn't she say it was only her grandmother? Why is Scarlett's uncle here too?

How should I address this uncle?

There doesn't seem to be a specific term for that. Then, how should I address my Girlfriend's uncle?

As he thought about it, Andrew's forehead was practically smoking; his brain was going into overload.
