Chapter 529 - Chapter 516 Valahari battle part 7

**Chapter 516**

**Hearts and Conquest**

**Scene 1**

**Aboard the Gray Wolf – Private Captain's Quarters**

**Dagon POV**

Two hours.

Two long, passionate, exhausting hours of lovemaking that had left the entire group breathless and glistening with sweat. Erictia's soul-bond-induced frenzy had finally begun to ebb. The pink heart-shaped glow in her eyes slowly faded back to their normal warm amber, and the crackling lightning across her skin dimmed until it disappeared entirely.

She lay curled against my chest now, breathing softly, her body limp with satisfied exhaustion. The rest of the girls were scattered around the large bed and couches — some resting, some quietly talking, a few still gently touching my skin as if to reassure themselves I was still here.

I ran my fingers through Erictia's hair, feeling the last remnants of that overwhelming bond settle into something deeper, warmer, but more manageable.

"Yeah… but what do you expect?" I murmured aloud, half to myself. "Aayla's the oldest at twenty-nine, then Shin at twenty-seven, me at twenty-six, Flare at twenty-four, Stella and Kayla at twenty-three, Erictia and Zule at nineteen, and Ahsoka at sixteen. This is the peak age for romance and love. And given that love is forbidden for Jedi… the girls seem a little too affectionate. Or maybe I'm not affectionate enough."

Ahsoka's voice came through the bond immediately, soft but with a hint of vulnerability. *Perhaps it's both. We both need to be more affectionate.*

I smirked, sending back a teasing thought. *Oh? Do I detect a hint of jealousy, Snips?*

She blushed fiercely through the bond, a wave of embarrassed warmth flooding me. *Shut up, Master.* But she didn't deny it.

The girls around me stirred. Shin lifted her head from my shoulder, purple eyes soft. "You're thinking too loudly again."

Zule chuckled from where she was curled against my side. "We heard that. And yes — we're all a little jealous when one of us gets extra attention. But we understand. The bond makes everything… intense."

Kayla stretched lazily, her pink skin glowing. "Especially after what happened with Erictia. That was something else."

Erictia murmured sleepily against my chest, nuzzling closer. "My Dagon… mine…"

I kissed the top of her head. "Rest, love. You wore yourself out."

Ahsoka, already dressed in her flight suit, stood near the door. She was preparing for the upcoming extraction mission on Valahari. "We should get moving soon. The fleet's waiting."

I nodded, gently disentangling myself from the pile of warm bodies. "You're right. Let's get ready."

As I pulled on my undersuit, Ahsoka lingered, watching me. Through the bond, I felt her mix of affection, protectiveness, and that small spark of jealousy she tried to hide.

I walked over and pulled her into a deep kiss, pouring love and reassurance into it. When we parted, she was flushed.

"Better?" I asked softly.

She nodded, smiling shyly. "Much better."

The girls gathered around, each stealing a kiss or a touch before we headed out. The bond between all of us felt stronger than ever — a living, breathing thing that connected us through love, war, and everything in between.

**Scene 2**

**Valahari Orbit – Gray Wolf Bridge**

The fleet converged on Valahari like a hammer descending.

The *Gray Wolf* led the formation, flanked by five Venators, five Lancer-class frigates, and eight Braha'tok-class gunships. It was a formidable force, designed for both orbital superiority and planetary assault.

I stood on the bridge, armored and ready. "Begin the operation. I'll lead Black Squadron in the Skelters to neutralize the anti-air defenses around the capital. Puck, you take ground teams and secure the noble families. Veers and Captain Cat will handle the main ground assault."

"Understood, General," Puck replied crisply.

The launch bays opened. My Skelter shot out first, followed by the elite Black Squadron. Below us, Valahari's capital sprawled — a beautiful city of spires and gardens now marred by barricades and rebel strongholds.

Anti-air batteries opened fire immediately. I dove hard, weaving through flak as my miniguns and railguns blazed. One battery after another exploded in brilliant fireballs as my squadron followed my lead.

"Anti-air grid collapsing," I reported. "Veers, you're clear for landing."

Colonel Veers' voice came back steady. "Copy that. Armored battalion deploying."

AT-STs, AT-XTs, AT-PTs, and repulsor tanks descended like a storm. The rebel forces — a few repulsor light tanks and a couple hundred special police guards — stood no chance. The battle was over almost before it began. Veers' forces rolled through the streets with overwhelming firepower, accepting surrender after surrender.

Puck's teams moved in swiftly, securing key noble families with minimal resistance.

**Scene 3**

**Valahari Capital – Royal Palace**

I landed my Skelter in the palace courtyard, stepping out with lightsaber ready. The remaining guards quickly lowered their weapons at the sight of me.

"Lady Vane," I called out as I entered the main hall. "We have come to rescue you."

Elodore Vane stood at the center of the room, surrounded by frightened attendants. Her face was pale, eyes red from crying. When she saw me, grief and rage twisted her features.

"Why?" she demanded, voice breaking. "After you killed my husband and my son, and brought war to our home… haven't you taken enough?"

I lowered my blade. "I didn't kill your husband. And your son is still alive."

The words hit her like a physical blow. Lady Vane's eyes widened, then rolled back as she fainted.

I caught her before she hit the floor. "Chewie, carry her."

The Wookiee growled affirmatively and gently lifted the unconscious noblewoman.

Ethan's voice came over comms, sounding as sarcastic as ever. "Sir, reports coming in — all noble houses have surrendered. What should we do?"

"Contact the Chancellor and the Jedi Council," I replied. "We need to stabilize this sector immediately."

As Chewie carried Lady Vane toward the waiting shuttle, I looked out over the capital. Smoke rose from a few distant fires, but the fighting was dying down. Valahari was ours.

For now.
