Chapter 479 - Chapter 467

**Chapter 467**

**The Leviathan of Tatooine**

**Dagon POV**

The cave mouth yawned before us like the entrance to some ancient beast's lair. Sand swirled around our boots as the twin suns beat down mercilessly, but the real heat came from within — a deep, primal warmth rising from the darkness ahead. The roar we had heard earlier still echoed in my bones, low and resonant, like thunder trapped underground.

I raised a hand, signaling the others to hold position. The girls and Nox formed a loose semicircle behind me, weapons ready but not raised. The clones maintained a respectful distance, their advanced armor gleaming under the harsh light.

"Easy," I murmured, reaching out with the Force. "I mean you no harm."

I extended my consciousness forward, careful and gentle at first, then deeper — forming a bridge through the Force. This wasn't a simple animal mind. This was ancient. Vast. A predator that had ruled these dunes for centuries.

*You are limited in food here,* I sent through the forming bond. *The desert grows barren. The herds thin. Come with me, and I will provide a better home. A world where you can hunt freely, protect life instead of merely surviving. A new territory worthy of a Leviathan.*

For a long moment, there was only silence. Then the ground trembled.

A low, vibrating growl rolled out from the depths — not angry, but curious. Testing.

I stepped forward, my black armored arm glowing faintly with crimson runes. The Shield of Wrath pulsed in response to the creature's power. Behind me, I felt the girls' tension through our bonds — awe mixed with fear.

"Stay back," I called softly. "This one is old. Very old."

The sand at the cave entrance began to shift. Then, with a sound like grinding boulders, the Leviathan Krayt Dragon emerged.

It was magnificent.

Forty-point-six-eight meters tall at the shoulder, two hundred meters long from snout to the tip of its spiny tail. Sixteen powerful limbs ended in five clawed digits each, digging deep furrows into the sand as it moved. Its head was protected by thick bony armor plates, scarred from countless battles. Massive spines ran down its back like jagged mountain ridges. When it opened its maw to taste the air, I caught a glimpse of rows of serrated teeth and the faint glow of corrosive ichor ready to be projected.

This wasn't just a Krayt Dragon.

This was the apex. The Leviathan.

Its golden eyes — ancient, intelligent, and wary — locked onto me. I felt its mind brush against mine: territorial rage tempered by curiosity and hunger. It had lived here for centuries, growing larger and more powerful with every meal, but the desert was dying around it. Prey was scarce. The Tusken Raiders had grown bolder in their hunts.

*I offer you more than survival,* I projected firmly. *I offer purpose. A new world. A new hunt.*

The dragon lowered its massive head, nostrils flaring as it scented me. A deep rumble vibrated through the sand. It wasn't fully convinced, but it was listening.

I took another step closer, raising my black armored hand. The runes on the Shield of Wrath glowed brighter. The dragon's eyes narrowed at the sight of it — recognition? Respect?

Behind me, Ahsoka whispered, "Dagon… it's huge."

"Stay calm," I replied without turning. "It senses fear."

The Leviathan snorted, sending a spray of sand across us. Then it lowered its head further, almost bowing. A tentative acceptance.

I reached out slowly and placed my armored hand on the side of its massive jaw. The scales were rough, warm, and pulsed with life. I sent another wave of calm through the Force, reinforcing the bond.

"Good," I murmured. "Very good."

**Scene 2**

The Accumulator-class assault ship descended slowly, its massive repulsors flattening the dunes around us. Dittmar's voice came over comms, calm and professional.

"Ground team, we're in position. Ramp lowering."

The huge front ramp of the Accumulator touched down with a heavy *thud*, creating a wide metal bridge into the ship's cavernous hold. The girls and clones moved back to give the dragon space.

I kept my hand on its jaw, guiding it gently forward. "Come on, big guy. Time for a new home."

The Leviathan hesitated for a moment, then began to move. Each step shook the ground. Its sixteen limbs moved with surprising grace for something so enormous. As it entered the Accumulator's hold, the ship's structural supports groaned under the weight, but held.

Once inside, I carefully rubbed a specific spot along its throat — a sensitive pressure point I had sensed through the Force bond. Then I applied a subtle, focused pressure with the Force.

The dragon made a deep, rumbling sound — almost a purr — and coughed.

A basketball-sized Krayt Dragon pearl rolled out of its gizzard, steaming hot and glowing with inner iridescence. I caught it carefully with the Force, letting it hover in front of me. The heat radiating from it was intense.

"Ohh… it's hot," I muttered, carefully guiding the pearl into a reinforced containment box brought by the clones.

Dagon turned to the group. "Okay, everything loaded up. Get back on the gunships. Dittmar, prepare the fleet to jump for Atraken as soon as we're clear."

"Copy that, General," Dittmar replied. "All ships standing by."

As the girls and Nox boarded the Ravens, I took one last look at the Leviathan. It had settled into the hold, curling its massive body as best it could. Its golden eyes watched me with surprising intelligence.

*You will have room to hunt soon,* I promised through the bond. *And a world that needs your protection.*

The dragon rumbled contentedly.

I sealed the ramp and jumped into the lead Raven with the girls. The gunships lifted off in perfect formation, escorting the massive Accumulator back toward orbit where the *Gray Wolf* and the rest of the task force waited.

Shin leaned against my side as we ascended. "You really just convinced a two-hundred-meter dragon to follow you home."

I smiled tiredly. "It's been a strange week."

Erictia, sitting across from us, grinned. "Think we can keep it as a pet?"

Ahsoka laughed. "Only Dagon would try to adopt a planetary threat."

Zule shook her head, but she was smiling. "The Tusken Raiders are going to tell stories about the Black Dragon who stole their greatest monster for generations."

As the fleet formed up in orbit and prepared to jump toward Atraken, I allowed myself a moment of quiet satisfaction. One more piece on the board. One more chance to change a doomed future.

The Leviathan would help save Atraken.

And maybe, just maybe, it would help save all of us in the end.
