Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Westren Continent

After analyzing his status, Ying Long Zai Tian fully grasped the nature of his talent and persona through the language of numbers and words. His [Jade] rank talent alone was enough to make him shine in any time or place, but his bloodline was exceptionally dense and potent, granting him far more skills than others. The skills mentioned were merely the beginning; with future cultivation, these abilities and attributes would only multiply.

He continued to scrutinize his status. The {15} Royal Sovereign bloodline bestowed grand, comprehensive innate abilities, making his nobility absolute and his Royal aura undeniable. His Bloodline Rank grants him cultivation speed 32x that of an ordinary person; combined with his Jade rank multiplier of 128x and the Great Qin Mantra at 64x, this granted him a staggering 234x the cultivation speed of a standard talent.

Having finished his inspection, Ying Long Zai Tian turned back toward Si Ji. Seeing the man watching him, he approached.

"Well, Si Ji? Have you finally decided what you will do?"

"You have left me no choice but to follow you or die," Si Ji replied with a heavy sigh. "What can I do but obey? Sigh... Forgive me, Grandfather Emperor, for I have squandered our legacy."

"Come now, do not grieve. This was your destiny in any case, Si Ji," Long Zai Tian said. "For I intend, as my forefather did, to unify China. You shall carry the Black Banner by my side. Stand tall and do not despair; your destiny is far greater than you imagine."

"Ah... very well, young Noble Sir. I accept. Now, would you please untie me? My body has grown stiff."

"Haha, very well. Soldiers! Come and undo his bonds."

A soldier stepped forward and began to unravel the ropes securing Si Ji...

Si Ji rose from the ground as the soldier unraveled his bonds, standing up while wincing slightly from the lingering pain of the blow to his head.

"You struck me as if you intended to kill me. Why all this cruelty?"

Long Zai Tian replied with a chuckle, "We are in a forest, and the law of the jungle has spoken."

Si Ji looked at him with bewilderment. "So, what now? Am I supposed to call you 'Your Majesty'?"

Long Zai Tian replied with absolute confidence, "Haha, yes. You'll grow to like it, for that is exactly what you should say. Now, let's speak of the future, Si Ji. What were your intentions? Why are you here in the Nine Dragons Basin, a place filled with nothing but wilderness?"

"I truly intended to build my village elsewhere," Si Ji explained. "But I possess two maps. I was rewarded with a map of the neighboring nations' landmarks, which included China. In the second map—specifically of China—I saw something missing from the first: the Nine Dragons Basin. The name intrigued me deeply. I questioned the System, and it revealed information regarding the Nine Dragon Veins and the Heaven-Slayer Holy heavenly Empire Ruins. My desire to explore the region grew, and I chose to establish my base here instead of my original location... right until your sudden strike reached me, Your Majesty," Si Ji added with a hint of mockery.

"Haha, think nothing of it, my friend. All is well," Long Zai Tian said. "Look at it this way: Fate sent you its chosen one from the very start so the path wouldn't be too arduous for you. Finding me at the beginning is a blessing, not a curse. Life is beautiful by my side, Si Ji—filled with riches and great fortunes."

"I understand your situation, Si Ji," Long Zai Tian said, his gaze shifting toward the horizon. "Now, we must plan our next move. I am considering a future assembly—a gathering of the Kings and Emperors of the Chinese Dynasties to swear fealty to me and unify China. This is a goal for when we have established true power and authority in this world."

He turned his attention back to Si Ji, his eyes narrowing with intent. "As for you, I have a plan in mind, and you happen to fit it perfectly. Tell me, what do you think of the United States? The American continent?"

"Huh? The United States? What about it?" Si Ji replied, taken aback. "It's the 'Land of Opportunity,' as they say. I've questioned the System about it and the Western Continent. It possesses a unique Vein of its own located in America called the [Flowers of Fortune Vein]. Interestingly, the northern part seems devoid of Dynasties and Kingdoms; it appears the U.S. government is the one poised to control it. I'm curious about the nature of their Vein myself... but why are you asking me about America?"

"Hmm... I want you to establish your state there. I want it to be our stronghold, our base of operations from which we will organize our rules. This is my vision, the 'Big Picture.' What do you think?"

"Hmm, America, you say..." Si Ji placed his hand on his chin, sinking into deep thought.

"Yes, America, Si Ji. There are no Imperial or Royal villages there yet. You can live with dignity, dominating the Western Continent for us. I will be your backbone from here, your anchor and support, providing you with all the equipment and resources you need. So, Si Ji... what do you say?"

"Alright, Your Majesty's idea appeals to me, and I must study it further," Si Ji replied. "But how can I possibly reach America?"

"The [Researcher] profession will serve us well," Long Zai Tian stated firmly. "I will convert a number of the village residents into Researchers and have them construct a Teleportation Formation from here to America. This will take some time—at least until the village population increases and I acquire talents of Silver rank and above. As of now, I haven't inspected the status of the residents or assigned their roles. We have been in this world for ten hours; we must return to Earth to check on the situation and the news. We will remain in contact there. I want you to come to my Clan and swear your fealty to me; then, we shall discuss further the future of China and America."

"Very well, Si Ji. Return to your world for now, and take this."

Long Zai Tian tossed Si Ji's ring back to him. Si Ji caught it and peered inside, finding all the gold intact. Surprised, Si Ji asked, "But... don't you need the gold?"

"I have a thousand pieces," Long Zai Tian replied calmly. "That is enough for me to launch my projects. You are fortunate; lords of Legendary Villages begin with ten thousand pieces. Keep them—they are yours."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Si Ji said, his perception of Long Zai Tian shifting toward a newfound respect.

"Then, with your permission, I shall return to my world. I will see you there, Your Majesty," Si Ji said.

"Hmm, yes. Go. I shall return in an hour as well. I will see you there. Farewell, Si Ji."

"Farewell, Your Majesty." Si Ji then commanded, "System, return me to my world." In a flash, Si Ji vanished from the spot.
