Gwendolyn's POV
This had to be some sort of cosmic joke.
Gwendolyn had lost her man to a preschool teacher. How in the world was that even possible? In the looks department Vivian Rose had absolutely nothing on her. Come on, the woman had boobs that looked like inflatable balloons. And she was far too soft and curvy. She had nothing on Gwendolyn's long legs and sharp features, and yet Ryan had chosen that woman and he was still choosing her.
Clearly Vivian Rose had something going for her that made up for all of the other ways in which she was lacking, (which was looks, status and money). How else could she still be keeping Ryan away from Gwendolyn, and making him act out of character? Gwendolyn had been hiding out for almost a month now. When it came to evading Ryan, she had known that the chances of him finding her were slim. Even when he had dabbled in the dark side during their time together, he had never really gone as dark as she would have liked.
