Vivian's POV
For the longest time, Vivian had thought that the reason she had let Bryce get away with treating her so badly, was because he was so much better than her, so much stronger. But now as the cycle repeated, this time with Ryan Terrell. Vivian was realizing that that had not been true.
Bryce had gotten away with so much, not because he had been stronger than her. But because Vivian had been the weakest link.
She was the one who hung on too long in relationships. The one who clung tightly even if the relations were supposed to be casual ones, and that was currently being proven to her.
She knew that Ryan had a woman that he was with. Someone from the same world as him, someone who was better suited for everything that was Ryan Terrell. It would have been better for her to let him go. Yet Vivian was still clinging to him.
She was so desperate for affection that she was willing to be the other woman, something that she had never thought herself capable of.
