Hours passed night came. Eventually everyone got to introduced themselves.
Two women taking care of bloodied woman were Lasie and Dasie. Cousins from their mothers being actual sisters.
Bloodied woman is Julie and her daughter Jiya. And what she confessed stunned everyone.
"They are my brother and husband." She indicated at two dead dogs laying in front of them, who were the ones to go after Ruoxi.
Then got to know what actually happened. Long story short both men were gamblers, drugs dealers. Even how Julie fell in love with him was set by both of them.
Just at age of 16 years she married him and had their daughter after just one year. Everything was good until then, she had a good brain and little support from both of them. So she opened a small business which ran very well, a little too well. Everything was good, she was earning heavy money, a good loving daughter, a husband and brother who loved her a lot.
But one day some people came as they were asking back their loan money since it has been many years and both of them had due.
And due to both of their pleading to her, she paid the amount but it cost her everything in savings and also from her business goods.
It massively hit her business and it was down for one year. Eventually with her skill she brought that up at how it used to be but again just recently another group came and took away everything.
But even that wasn't enough to settle so both men decided to sell her daughter as she was still a child so she can be trained from early age as however buyer wanted. They offered very big but even there was also short so they also planned to sell her and few others after kidnapping them and using everyone fully.
Only little girl was spared from that hell because they wanted her to be completely pure and fresh.
Little girl had woken once where she was fed barely, even eating was difficult for her due to very low energy.
Now everyone have mostly recovered, even Julie can move properly. Only little girl is sleeping peacefully this time in mother's arms. All of them decided to sleep right here, anywhere anyhow just a good long rest would be enough.
In silent night suddenly light flashed from outside. Everyone have taken proper place to lie somehow but none have slept yet. All of them noticed the flash, and soon footsteps followed after.
20-30 black clothed masked men moved inside slowly.
All women have taken cover seeing the sight and looked around to give signals at each other.
But soon they found someone missing among them. Ruoxi is nowhere. Everyone looked around to look for her. Only Jasmine looked toward the squad of men moving inside. She had intuition that she knows where Ruoxi is exactly, which was soon proven when commotion appeared among the squad.
Jasmine also dashed toward the squad with the iron pole from before and collided with nearest person by smashing the pole on the hand that was holding gun.
Gun fell on the floor with the arm holding it.
Before pain could register into his brain fully she already cut another firearm holding hand beside.
First person finally screamed like a dying pig "Guhuuuhuuu." But she had already cut another firearm holding arm.
Hearing the scream two men turned and noticed Jasmine holding the iron pole coming toward them. Others are busy tackling another bigger threat from back side.
Both pointed their guns toward Jasmine and fired. But she had moved the pole according to the position and trajectory of the gun. One bullet hit the pipe and another missed as she had moved accordingly.
Both were shocked at the sight. Taking the chance of their astonishment pole moved again going for their hands, cutting the hand holding the guns. Another scream followed then but no one turned since they were already being slaughtered, leaving some handful yet they without any arm.
Jasmine dropped on one knee and supported herself with iron pole. Exhaustion creep up within her, yet she could still take out couple more by pushing herself further but she might be in bed for days. But it isn't needed since Ruoxi has already taken out most, remaining are busy to save themselves from getting cut down.
Soon they also met her sword.
"Purpose." Ruoxi randomly picked from remaining and threatened.
His eyes dirted around while he replied "I don't know."
"Purpose." She didn't waste another word, took a leg from him and moved to another one beside.
Seeing such decisiveness from her, he became nervous. But still just like last one he also denied to say what he knew "I don't know."
Again another leg severed. She moved to another person after carefully looking at everyone, who looked quite calm with only one arm gone.
"Purpose."
"I will die regardless of saying anything or not."
Man was prepared to lose a limb but Ruoxi looked at Jasmine and ask her opinion with her eye.
Standing up Jasmine walked and stood beside Ruoxi.
"He can be spared but won't be free to move and will have come with us. He can live however he wants but under our watch. Only if whatever he will say will have enough value to buy his life."
Man heard everything but looked at side where used to be his arm. "What kind of life would be without an arm."
Ruoxi sneered "According to you, technology is so backward that it can't even reattach the severed arm just like it used to be."
"But that is available for." He couldn't finish and was cut short mid.
"Yah yah, only prolonged martial sects, high society and higher echos of all countries have access to service, so what. If your information is valuable enough to my liking then it will be arranged. But also keep in mind if i feel that you are lying, you will be seated in lie detect machine and with any false result you won't dying for few years."
Man trembled with her eyes on him and felt her killing intent to even his bones. Suddenly he felt another killing intent even heavier from the other person.
Jasmine chuckled "If you lie, you die. But you will wish for few years that immediate death would have been best."
Man gulped, almost felt like being watched by a red eyed demoness.
"5 min, decide."
After 2 min he decided to spill.
