However, his grand galactic conquest was suddenly interrupted before it could even begin.
Zestia stood blocking the doorway to his private quarters. Her face was flushed as red as a dying star. She was completely failing to maintain her usual fiery demeanor.
She shifted nervously from one foot to the other, nearly tripping over the edge of the metal floor plating.
"Is something wrong, Zestia? Are the hyper-drives malfunctioning?"
She waved her hand frantically.
"No, the engines are perfectly fine! The ship is fine. The universe is fine. Everything is just completely fine."
Neo crossed his arms, thoroughly amused by her sudden clumsiness.
"Then why do you look like you're about to explode?"
