The sun rises, it flooded its radiance upon the forest. Tamamo eyes fluttered as he got up and stretches her body. She looked over the sleeping child next to only to sigh in disappointment in herself for almost having him die yesterday to those third-rate monsters, yet she couldn't wrap her head around how such low intelligent beasts were able to coordinate such an attack that catch her and the others off so easily. The timing and decisions felt calculated, but who or what could be the reason? Maybe the cousins of the prince were giving orders to assassinate him? No that wouldn't make sense she thought. Maybe the monsters were some sort of special breed? Possibly. Before she can ponder further a young man walks out from behind the trees in front of her.
Wyrr Tamamo Akasha ---
Who are you?. Are you here to commit a sin or virtue?. Please think carefully before you answer.
The young man in front of her felt a chill. His hair long and messy, his clothing made of tons of tree leaves making him look like a beggar, his arms folded trying to portray a confident exterior, but almost falters to the woman's chilling words. He couldn't help but create hundreds of scenarios to make the situation go in his favor, till he landed on one to win the situation he's in.
Reed Rigell ---
I am the warrior of this forest and I help those who are unfortunate to be swallowed by its vicious cruelty upon you and that boy.
Tamamo couldn't help but be disgusted by the obvious lie. Yet, was moved the sheer stupidity of reed. A certain person in her past that reminded her of. A forever memorable, yet tragic day. She shook the guilt and examines reed.
Wyrr Tamamo Akasha ---
Virtue it seems, yet I don't why your truly here. Could it be because you heard my frie- my frie- frie- the words she tried speaking were not coming out. She was surprised for a moment, but quickly turned the subject. Anyways, I have three conditions if your willing to help us, if not, I will not force you, but commit a sin upon us an I will give you a painful memory. One, kill a few beasts, then give me them, second, find a phoenix feather, usually there somewhere within the forest. Third, bring them back before night comes. Are my conditions heard?.
Reed couldn't help but smile fakely towards the "demands" rather than conditions. His thoughts were filled with yay I didn't get killed and damn it am I her errand boy? He raised his hand clearly wanting something. The woman shook her head, clearly already knowing what question he's about to propose.
Wyrr Tamamo Akasha ---
I already know your question. Its about if I will trust you and give something to compensate for your troubles. No, no I will not compensate you for volunteering for us in such a reckless and saviour-like action. Perhaps, if your smart, you would not voluntarily help others that aren't randoms within a forest that can possibly kill you without hesitation. So, how will you respond?.
Reed gulped, he was not annoyed, rather he felt challenged and determined. He thought about what she said and pondered, if there's no compensation I might as well do the old way he thought. With a determined look, he turned around and walked, then stopped, he stopped to give her a look that eludes determination, then walks off.
What an annoying brat she thought. Her expression slightly softens showing a slight concern, but shook it off clearly not wanting to care about the stranger well being. Even if he reminded of that tragic past, she couldn't help but ponder if giving such demands makes her any better than those people. Once again she shook off those thought and put the still boy upon her back.
Tam? The boy eyes slowly opens as she starts walking. Tamamo sighs in relief. Thank you el beast for not making the prince be injured by those maulers she thought with praise, and small smile appearing on her usual serious face.
