Ren was ready to jump into the arena when she was in a dangerous situation.
He knew it could get him disqualified, but he didn't care about it as her life was much more important than the test.
But just as he was about to save her, Elara's wings suddenly enlarged and she shot into the air, narrowly escaping death.
Lucas and his lackeys were unhappy with the turn of events, as they all hoped she would die in the arena.
"Damn it! It was so close!" Lucas gritted his teeth in fury.
"Don't worry, boss. The test isn't over yet," Mason commented.
"That's right," Caleb added. "I'm sure the magical beasts will kill her in the end."
The moment their words reached his ears, Ren's eyes turned cold. He wanted to beat them to death so badly, but they were still in the middle of the test, so he could only suppress his anger.
'Just you wait! I will teach you a lesson later.'
He had no intention of forgiving them for wanting her dead.
