They all stared at the pillar with fear in their eyes. There was only one man capable of such an attack.
"General Stone! It's me, Commander Enlil! We come in peace!"
Enny called up to the man standing on top of the wall. However, the words didn't seem to have much an effect on him. His voice echoed out over the plain.
"Traitor. I know what you've all come for, and I will die before I let any of you get close."
Jacob raised his hands and got on his knees.
"We will leave our weapons right where we are before we enter! We truly mean no harm!"
He hesitated.
"We are... all that's left."
