Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 - The Morning After

‎The moon had retreated behind dawn, leaving Seoul Moon Park wrapped in quiet mist. For the first time in years, the air itself felt different; charged, lighter, as if the Goddess had brushed her fingers across the city.

‎Chan × Minho:

‎Sunlight slipped across Minho's face, waking him before he was ready. His body still hummed with the echo of last night; the warmth, the pulse, the voice that had whispered his name like a prayer.

‎He blinked, and there was Chan beside him on the couch in the Mixtape penthouse lounge, one arm draped protectively over Minho's waist, hair a soft mess.

‎Minho stared for a long moment, torn between wanting to run and wanting to stay exactly where he was.

‎Then Chan stirred. "You're awake," he murmured, voice low and raspy.

‎"Barely," Minho replied, eyes flicking away. "Did we-"

‎Chan's chuckle interrupted him. "We bonded. That's all that matters."

‎The bond thrummed between them like a second heartbeat. Chan's thumb brushed Minho's knuckles. "You can pretend it's nothing, but you're mine now, and I'm yours."

‎Minho sighed, soft but genuine. "You make it sound too easy."

‎"It's not," Chan said. "But it's real."

‎Outside the window, the city shimmered with morning light and something inside Minho, a stubborn, lonely part, finally began to quiet.

‎---

‎Changbin × Seungmin:

‎At Mixtape Corp's gym, Seungmin was pretending to stretch while Changbin watched him with the grin of someone who'd already accepted fate.

‎"You're staring," Seungmin said flatly, though the corner of his mouth betrayed him.

‎"Because my mate's beautiful," Changbin said, wiping his hands on a towel. "I'm allowed."

‎Seungmin threw a dumbbell cushion at him. Changbin caught it easily, laughing. The sound was so loud and alive that it made the room seem brighter.

‎"Don't you have a board meeting?" Seungmin asked, pretending to check his watch.

‎"I canceled it," Changbin said easily. "The Goddess gave me better priorities."

‎Seungmin rolled his eyes, but when Changbin came up behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist, he didn't move away. Instead, he leaned back slightly, muttering, "You're ridiculous."

‎Changbin smiled against his hair. "And yours."

‎---

‎Hyunjin × Jisung:

‎At Stay University, Jisung was doing his best to avoid every stare which was difficult when Hyunjin was literally walking beside him, holding two iced coffees and grinning like the world's proudest Alpha.

‎"Stop smiling like that," Jisung hissed. "People will notice."

‎"They should," Hyunjin said, handing him the second drink. "They should know my mate's the prettiest Omega in school."

‎Jisung sputtered into his straw. "You're impossible!"

‎"Impossible for anyone but you," Hyunjin teased, and Jisung's cheeks went crimson.

‎They found their usual bench under the cherry blossom tree, the same place where they'd met years ago. The petals danced around them as Hyunjin's hand brushed Jisung's.

‎"Do you regret it?" Hyunjin asked quietly.

‎Jisung shook his head. "No. I just... didn't expect it to feel this right."

‎"Then don't fight it," Hyunjin said. "Let it be right."

‎---

‎Felix × Jeongin:

‎At the bakery, the morning rush had barely started when Felix appeared behind the counter with his usual bright grin. Jeongin was already there, arranging croissants though his hands trembled slightly each time their fingers brushed.

‎"Good morning, sunshine," Felix said, voice gentle but teasing.

‎"Stop calling me that," Jeongin muttered.

‎"Never," Felix said, eyes soft. "You glow when you're embarrassed."

‎Jeongin's lips twitched into a reluctant smile. "You're too much sometimes."

‎Felix shrugged, leaning over the counter. "Then I'm just enough for you."

‎Their laughter filled the room, quiet and intimate. The scent of baked bread mingled with the faint hum of the mate bond, wrapping around them like a promise of calm after storm.

‎(Felix owns a bakery, it's another business he owns after opening mixtape corp with his friends)

‎---

‎Later that day, all eight of them ended up at the café where it all began, the Omegas on one side of the table, the Alphas on the other.

‎It was awkward at first, filled with side glances and nervous smiles. Then Hyunjin cleared his throat. "So... apparently we're all mates now?"

‎Felix grinned. "Seems like it."

‎Changbin raised an eyebrow at Chan. "Guess the Goddess has plans for Mixtape Corp, huh?"

‎Chan smirked, glancing at Minho. "And she's got good taste."

‎Minho huffed, sipping his drink. "You're all unbearable."

‎"Yet you're sitting here," Chan murmured.

‎That shut Minho up not because he had nothing to say, but because Chan was right. Despite everything, being near him felt natural now, like gravity had chosen its direction long ago.

‎As laughter filled the café, something warm settled over the group, the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, one that would test them, strengthen them, and bind them tighter than any destiny.
