Chapter 37 - Chapter 37 Die, Ah Long!

Chapter 37 Die, Ah Long!

Luffy suddenly took a deep breath, swelling his stomach into a balloon shape, and then forcefully pulled out his bitten finger.

Under everyone's astonished gaze, Luffy's fist suddenly swelled up, growing bigger and longer at an incredible speed, instantly transforming into a gigantic fist as large as a giant!

That fist was like a battering ram that had stepped out of an ancient myth, with the muscle texture under the skin clearly visible, as if it contained a violent power capable of tearing mountains apart.

"Are you...you're kidding, right!?"

"That fist is bigger than the Going Merry, isn't it!?"

Looking at the fist that resembled a small mountain above his head, Usopp's forehead instantly broke out in a cold sweat.

no?

Has he been stripping with monsters like this all along?!

"Rubber rubber—Giant's pistol!!!"

With Luffy's deep and powerful roar, his towering fist, carrying overwhelming force, crashed into the massive castle-like building in the center of Dragon Park, a symbol of oppression and enslavement!

The air was compressed, creating a deafening sonic boom!

Wherever the fist passed, a strong wind howled, and even the ground was plowed into a deep trench by the force of the punch!

Even Zoro and Sanji, who were charging in and out of the Fishman Pirates' ranks, were stunned by this aura, standing there dumbfounded, watching the giant fist float past overhead.

"No way?!"

Boom!

A deafening roar erupted, shaking the entire ground of Cocoaxi Village!

Under the horrified gazes of Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, Nami, and all the fishmen present, the iconic building of the Arlong Empire, constructed of solid rock and steel and once considered unshakeable, crumbled and collapsed from top to bottom as if struck head-on by a mountain thrown by a giant god!

Bricks and stones flew everywhere, beams and pillars broke, and walls decorated with ugly fish-man totems collapsed in patches. The dust and smoke rose into the sky like mushroom clouds, turning half the sky gray and yellow!

"This...this is..."

The cigarette in Sanji's mouth fell silently to the ground. His eyes widened, and he forgot to maintain his usual gentlemanly demeanor.

"Luffy, that guy..."

Zoro sheathed his sword and stood there, his eyes flashing with a sharp light.

He thought Luffy in Gear Second was invincible, but he never expected that Luffy had such a terrifying technique hidden inside.

However, the shock in his eyes quickly faded.

Instead, there is boundless anticipation for the future.

After all, he knew very well that Luffy's ability to develop such terrifying techniques was inseparable from V's guidance.

He believed that with V's help, he would soon grow into a strong person who could stand on his own.

Only Nami covered her mouth, her orange hair dancing wildly in the raging air.

Tears welled up uncontrollably in my eyes.

The building that had imprisoned her dreams for eight years and devoured the blood and sweat of countless villagers was blasted into ruins right before her eyes by her partner's punch!

Sunlight pierced through the smoke and dust, falling on her face, as if dispelling the gloom that had shrouded her heart for many years.

The smoke and dust slowly dissipated.

The once towering and arrogant main castle of Dragon Paradise has now been reduced to a continuous pile of rubble.

Zoro and Sanji exchanged a glance, and then their fighting spirit dissipated simultaneously.

Compared to Luffy's attack, their attacks were like children playing around; they were not even in the same league.

How can they possibly maintain their burning passion?

"Cough...cough cough cough..."

A violent and embarrassing coughing fit rang out.

Immediately, several large stone slabs in the center of the ruins were violently lifted up.

Ah Long—the sawtooth shark man who called himself the "ruler of the East Sea"—was covered in dust, blood streaming from his forehead, and even his proud long nose was crooked.

Following closely behind, the fish-man executives, including Croobi, Chuu, and Hachi, struggled out from under the rubble, each bearing injuries and looking terrified.

However, when they saw their surroundings clearly, a chill instantly ran down their spines and up to their heads—

Everywhere you look, amidst the ruins, are scattered and buried the figures of ordinary members of the Fishman Pirates!

Even those who didn't die on the spot were almost all seriously injured and unconscious.

"Bastard…bastard…" A Long's eyes were bloodshot as he looked around, trying to find the culprit who destroyed the Dragon Empire.

"Who the hell is this?! I'll kill you!!!"

"Stop shouting, losers of the new world."

V's voice wasn't loud, but it was like an ice pick, precisely piercing through Aaron's hysterical roar.

He emerged from the dusty curtain, carrying a small doll.

The little puppet in his hand suddenly leaped up, jumped to the ground, and said in a comical and cute voice:

"Is this the guy who made Nami so sad?!"

"..."

"..."

The atmosphere was instantly broken by the soft, sweet voice of the toddler.

Ah Long and the others focused their attention on the little doll.

And who could have imagined... that such an adorable little guy had just easily destroyed the entire Dragon Empire.

That's right.

The miniature figure V is holding is none other than Luffy, whose body has shrunk due to the side effects of Gear Third.

Usopp, looking at Luffy who could be kicked far away with a single kick, couldn't help but sigh:

"There are indeed too many unknown events in this world."

Nami, who had finally reached this moment, stepped forward.

Her short orange hair shimmered in the sunlight, and her eyes no longer held the gloom of the past, only a relieved determination.

"Ah Long, it's all over."

"It's time to settle the scores from all these years."

Ah Long snapped out of his daze, his jagged teeth chattering with rage.

"Did you do all this, Nami!?"

Whoosh!

He suddenly pulled his serrated broadsword from the ruins, his bloodshot eyes seemingly about to spit blood.

"It seems…" his voice was hoarse and low, as if squeezed from the depths of his chest, "that my past 'mercy' has made you, a lowly human,… forget who the true master of this sea is!"

He swung the serrated broadsword with one hand, the heavy blade slicing through the air with a chilling whistling sound.

"For the sake of my compatriots whom you ambushed..." Ah Long enunciated each word with fervent hatred and rage, "I will... chop you into mincemeat!!!"

Before he finished speaking, his burly body shot out like a cannonball, sending the gravel flying everywhere under his feet.

However, just as the serrated greatsword, crackling with resentment and fury, was about to fall, Nami suddenly spoke, her voice as cold as iron, cutting through the air:

"The one who truly deserves to die is you—"

"Ah Long—!!!!!!!!!!"

She let out a heart-wrenching roar, a roar that had been building up for eight years of anger and pain.

The roar seemed to have triggered some kind of switch.

Nami's bright silver hands suddenly detached from her arms and rushed towards Arlong.

"What!?" Ah Long's pupils shrank sharply, and his sprint was slightly slowed by this unexpected turn of events.

The two detached metal hands did not fall, but instead rapidly transformed and reformed in mid-air!

The mechanical structure shifted and transformed like a living thing, the metal winglets unfolded with a "whoosh," and the tail thruster instantly lit up with a ghostly blue light.

In the blink of an eye, the two palms transformed into two streamlined, futuristic miniature fighter jets!

Alarm bells rang in Ah Long's mind; his biological instincts told him he was under deadly threat.

He tried to twist and dodge, but it was too late!

The two fighter jets hovered in front of Nami, and beneath their bellies, two Gatling-style rotating gun barrels, flashing with dangerous red light, extended out, locking onto Arlong, who was standing almost within reach.

The next second...

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang-! ! ! ! !

The deafening explosion sounded like the sudden drumbeat of death!

Countless specially designed explosive rounds were ejected from the rotating barrel, instantly forming a scorching, dense, and absolutely destructive metal storm!

The bullet struck his proud, hardened scales and skin, but instead of penetrating deeper, it triggered a miniature explosive mechanism inside.

Each hit will trigger a small-scale, violent explosion!

Boom boom boom boom boom boom—!!!

A series of explosions erupted on Ah Long's body, instantly filling the air with the smell of burning and gunpowder.

The aroma of grilled fish!

Luffy twitched his nose, sniffed, and instantly drooled.

"A true expert!" V smiled faintly, his eyes reflecting Ah Long's tragic figure.

"Brother Alon!!!" Croobi, Chu, Hachi, and other fish-man executives, struggling to their feet from the ruins, cried out in terror and despair, their eyes wide with fury.

They tried to rush forward, but Zoro and Sanji coldly stopped them.

Sanji lit a cigarette and looked at the fish-men with a heavy gaze.

"This is a crucial moment for Nami's revenge, and I won't let you pass so easily."

Zoro: "Me too."

Bang!!!

A bullet suddenly passed between Sanji and Zoro, hitting the fishman executive Chu precisely.

Pfft!

Blood splattered like sharp arrows.

The wounded bird seemed unaware of what had happened. He instinctively clutched his chest, looked at the dripping blood on his hand, his eyes suddenly rolled back, and he collapsed to the ground unconscious.

"Chirp!" Crooby shouted.

His gaze then turned to what was behind Sanji and Zoro.

Suddenly, Usopp appeared on the ruins in the far distance.

Seemingly noticing Croobi's gaze, he twitched his nose slightly and shouted to make his presence known.

"Don't forget, I'm here too!"

"You murlocs, wash your necks clean! Just wait until my 80 million minions raze this place to the ground!!!"

"Hahahaha—"

Amid Usopp's exhilarating laughter, the two combat drones suddenly emitted a clicking sound.

It turned out that all the bullets they were loaded had been fired.

Even so, the flames and smoke from the explosion lasted for several seconds before slowly dissipating.

On the scorched ground, Ah Long's once tall body was now curled up in a ball, his body emitting blue smoke, covered with horrific, deep bullet holes and burns that revealed the bone, with almost no intact skin to be found.

He let out a hissing sound as he tried to lift his head. His once arrogant and tyrannical red eyes were now only filled with disorientation and disbelief.

"Damn...humans..." With his last breath, he spat out a curse mixed with blood and black smoke, his voice weak but still ferocious.

Before he could finish speaking, his broken body lost all support, as if his skeleton had been ripped out, and with a "thud," he fell heavily onto the rubble in front of Nami, stirring up a small cloud of dust, and then fell silent.

The scene was deathly silent.
