Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Seduce or Die

Afternoon classes were a chore to get through, mostly because Professor Sianna actually taught the third block of the day, which was supposed to be a fundamental course on magical combat theory.

I sat in the back row of the lecture hall, fully intending to pay close attention to the syllabus and take proper notes, but my mind ended up completely wandering.

I spent the entire hour just staring at her, hopelessly fixated on her eyes and the way her body was so perfectly curved underneath that thick academy uniform.

'She's smoking hot.'

I couldn't stop watching the way her skirt hugged her wide hips every single time she turned around to write on the chalkboard, or the distracting way her tits jumped whenever she took a deep breath to project her voice to the students.

It was torture trying to sit completely still behind my desk while my imagination ran completely wild.

'Maybe this wasn't a big deal after all.'

It is not like I have never had any real relationships or experiences with women before.

In my past life, once I finally completed the academy and went into seclusion for my advanced combat training, I actually slept with a lot of different women across the continent.

I even spent a few years living among the high-elf warriors in the deep western forests, women who were busty, fiercely demanding, and beautifully experienced in the bedroom.

I guess being shoved back into this healthy, highly energetic eighteen-year-old body is making my youthful hormones work completely differently than I expected, flooding my brain with instincts and intense desires I haven't felt in years.

A red window appeared at the very edge of my vision to completely ruin my lingering fantasies.

[Time remaining: 2 Days 11 Hours]

'Fuck me,' I thought to myself, rubbing my face with both hands.

By the time the final bell finally rang to signal the end of the academic day, my stomach was growling loudly, and I was more than ready to hit the cafeteria to devour whatever heavy meals I could get my hands on.

But I knew I couldn't afford to waste precious time eating when my actual life was on the line and my target was sitting alone in her office.

Instead of heading back to the noisy student dorms with the rest of the freshman crowd, I made my way over to the restricted faculty wing.

The hallways over here were significantly quieter, lined with expensive, polished metal-like panelling and grand portraits of famous alumni staring down at me in judgment.

'I resurrected these guys to help me in the final fight. But they were fucking useless on the battlefield, saying their era of fighting was over.'

I kept walking down the carpet until I stopped right in front of the door labelled "Trainee Professor Sianna Vale - Combat Theory & Mana Control."

I took a deep breath to steady my racing heart, knocked twice on the door, and pushed the door open before I could talk myself out of doing this incredibly reckless stunt.

Sianna was sitting right behind a desk, with those glasses perched perfectly on her nose as she graded a tall stack of freshman papers.

Her dark hair was still tied back in that bun, but a few loose strands had escaped throughout the long day and now beautifully framed her face.

The academy coat she wore was buttoned up neatly to her collar, yet the thick fabric still couldn't possibly hide the full lumps of her breasts or the enticing way her waist curved down into wide, soft hips whenever she leaned forward to write.

Just looking at her sitting there made my newly rejuvenated blood run hot.

She looked up from her desk with surprise reflecting in her lovely eyes.

"Cadet Newman?" she asked, her voice sounding soft but still carrying that mature, deeply tired edge to it.

"Is there something wrong, or did you forget something in the lecture hall?"

I stepped inside the office and closed the door behind me, trying my best to look like a dedicated, respectful student instead of a highly confident, horny guy operating on a system-mandated death timer.

"I actually wanted to ask you a few questions about today's lecture on mana flow stabilisation," I lied smoothly, maintaining steady eye contact while taking a step closer to her desk.

"I was taking notes during your class, but I didn't quite understand the specific part about emotional interference affecting the spell casting."

It was a weak excuse considering I barely heard a single word she actually said during the entire lecture, but it was the best improvisational lie I had in my arsenal right now.

Sianna studied my face quietly for a long moment, probably trying to figure out if I was messing with her, and then she gestured gracefully to the empty leather chair sitting right in front of her desk.

"Go ahead and sit down, Cadet. Most first-year students definitely don't come to my office asking about advanced theory on the very first day of school."

As I sat down across from her, I immediately caught a faint scent drifting across the desk between us.

It was something clean and sweet, like fresh lavender, but it was mixed with the lingering exhaustion of someone who clearly hadn't slept properly in weeks.

Her silver wedding ring glinted brightly under the warm yellow glow of her desk lamp every single time she moved her hand to adjust her grading pen, serving as a constant, annoying reminder of the invisible barrier standing between us.

We sat there and talked for almost fifteen minutes straight.

She explained the complex magical concept incredibly patiently, keeping her voice strictly calm and professional the entire time.

But because my observation stat was totally maxed out, I easily noticed all the small, revealing things about her posture and demeanour.

I knew exactly what I was doing when I leaned forward slightly, resting my arms on her desk to confidently close the physical distance between us.

"You honestly sound like you are speaking from deep personal experience, Professor," I said, keeping my voice low and steady.

Her moving pen paused right in the middle of a handwritten sentence.

For half a second, her eyes met mine, and I mean, she really locked onto my gaze, and something soft and vulnerable showed across her beautiful face before her strict professional mask slammed right back down into place.

"I think that is more than enough extra tutoring for today, Cadet Newman," she said very quietly, standing up from her leather chair and neatly stacking her papers to avoid looking at me.

"My scheduled office hours are officially over."

She walked around the desk to escort me to the door, which was exactly the kind of opening I was hoping for.

When I turned around to politely thank her, our bodies were suddenly standing very close together in the narrow doorway, leaving almost no room to breathe between us.

Her full two boobs were practically brushing against my arm, and I could smell that sweet scent even stronger now, making my head spin slightly.

"Thank you for your time, Professor," I said, purposely letting my voice drop significantly lower and rougher than I originally intended.

"You really look like you carry a lot of heavy burdens all by yourself in this place. If you ever need someone to just sit and listen to you… I happen to be a very good listener."

"Why would I need a student to solve my problems?" Sianna smiled, dismissing my query.

I stepped out, taking a big breath inside.

The system notification suddenly popped up in the air, making me want to laugh out loud and scream in total frustration at the same time.

I had barely turned the corner to finally head toward the cafeteria when a very familiar voice stopped me dead in my tracks.
