The artillery fire in the crimson battlefield poured down like a torrential rain; fragments of cracked rock and cooled lava splattered everywhere, as Jogo and Earth Fiend's combined domain teetered on the brink of collapse under the suppression of War World.
Both of them knew clearly in their hearts that they had reached a life-or-death juncture; once Rin's domain completely covered their own and activated that inescapable sure-hit effect, they would have no chance of survival.
"Let's go all out!"
Jogo roared, disregarding the damage to his body, as the Cursed Energy of flames around him surged once again.
He burned his remaining Cursed Energy to the limit, and the lava that had been tending to subside instantly boiled, transforming into streaks of fire dragons that broke through the blockade of artillery fire and charged fiercely toward Rin.
The fire dragons opened their giant maws, spewing scorching flames in an attempt to incinerate this crimson battlefield.
Earth Fiend also launched a counterattack simultaneously.
He slammed his hands heavily onto the ground, and heavy Cursed Energy flowed from his fingertips into the earth.
The previously collapsed stone mountain instantly reassembled, and countless sharp stone spikes grew out like fangs breaking through the soil, spreading toward the direction where Rin was located.
At the same time, his body continuously expanded, his skin becoming as hard as diamond, turning into a mobile fortress that blocked in front of Jogo, forcibly tanking a wave of artillery bombardment.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
The fire dragons and stone spikes broke through layers of artillery fire, closing in on Rin.
Yet Rin remained floating in the center of the domain, his expression calm, as his Crimson Sharingan precisely captured the trajectory of the attacks.
He waved his hand, and the Tank phantoms within War World immediately adjusted their muzzles, firing dense shells at the fire dragons and stone spikes.
Sounds of explosions rang out one after another; the fire dragons were hit by the shells, instantly dissipating into sparks that filled the sky.
The stone spikes were blasted apart, and the fractured pieces of rock crashed onto the ground, emitting dull thuds.
But Jogo and Earth Fiend did not stop; like madmen, they continuously drove their Cursed Energy, launching wave after wave of fierce attacks.
Jogo condensed several streaks of flame, and using the cover of Earth Fiend's stone walls, hurled them toward Rin.
Earth Fiend manipulated the earth to crack open, attempting to collapse the ground beneath Rin's feet, causing him to lose his footing.
Their coordination was extremely tacit; the powers of flame and earth intertwined, forming a tight attack net that continuously compressed Rin's range of movement.
A hint of seriousness finally appeared in Rin's eyes.
He could feel that the power these two Cursed Spirits erupted with in this desperate situation was much stronger than when he fought them individually before.
But this was still far from enough.
"Since you want to play so badly, then I'll play along."
Rin whispered softly, his hands quickly forming Finger Seals. The weapon phantoms within War World instantly shifted their forms; fighter jet phantoms ascended, dove down toward Jogo and Earth Fiend, and dropped giant bombs.
Countless machine gun positions appeared on the ground, and dense bullets formed a net of firepower, intercepting the two's attacks once again.
At the same time, he mobilized the Cursed Technique of the Dark Cursed Spirit he had absorbed within his body, condensing a black barrier in front of him, completely isolating the flame attack Jogo had launched in the chaos.
Subsequently, his figure flashed, appearing in the shadow behind Earth Fiend as if teleporting, black-red Cursed Energy condensed in his palm, and he smashed a fist heavily into Earth Fiend's back.
"Boom!"
A dull, loud sound followed; a crack appeared on Earth Fiend's hard skin, and purple blood gushed from the wound.
In pain, he let out a roar, turned around, and swung a massive fist, smashing toward Rin.
Rin dodged nimbly, simultaneously controlling several fighter jet phantoms to launch a precision bombardment at Earth Fiend's wound.
Seeing this, Jogo immediately gave up attacking Rin, turning instead to control flames to blast at the fighter jet phantoms, attempting to relieve Earth Fiend.
But the moment he moved, Rin diverted a portion of his attention, controlling the machine gun positions on the ground to turn, and dense bullets fired toward Jogo.
Jogo was forced to dodge, and his original rescue plan fell through.
On the battlefield, artillery fire filled the sky, and Cursed Energy crisscrossed. Although Jogo and Earth Fiend's counterattacks were fierce, they were never able to break through Rin's domain blockade.
Their Cursed Energy was rapidly depleting, and their presence was growing weaker and weaker, while Rin's War World remained stable, even continuously expanding, eating away at their domain range bit by bit.
Jogo looked at the encroaching boundary of the crimson domain, a trace of despair flashing in his eyes.
He knew their time was running out.
"Earth Fiend! Use that move!" Jogo roared, a trace of determination flashing in his eyes.
Upon hearing this, Earth Fiend nodded heavily.
He no longer defended, but instead concentrated all his Cursed Energy onto his fists; his rocky skin began to peel off, revealing the Cursed Energy core underneath that harbored destructive power.
Jogo also simultaneously condensed his flame Cursed Energy to the limit, echoing Earth Fiend's power.
Two extreme forces of Cursed Energy intertwined and collided in the center of the battlefield, rising up with a terrifying aura capable of distorting space.
Jogo and Earth Fiend abandoned all defense, completely fusing their powers together to give birth to this passionate combo technique named "Friendship."
This was their trump card, and their final desperate gamble.
The surrounding earth shattered violently under the pull of the Cursed Energy, and countless giant rocks broke free from the shackles of the ground, rising toward the sky as if controlled by invisible giant hands.
These giant rocks gathered and compressed rapidly in mid-air, eventually condensing into a massive stone sphere hundreds of meters in diameter, its surface covered in hideous cracks, exuding heavy earth-style Cursed Energy.
The flames burning around Jogo surged instantly, transforming into a galloping fire dragon that completely enveloped the entire stone sphere.
The scorching flames licked the rocks, causing the stone sphere to gradually turn bright red; the surface even began to melt, flowing with hot lava.
"Maximum Technique: Meteor!"
The two Cursed Spirits let out a deafening roar simultaneously; the stone sphere in the sky, under the enhancement of the flames, completely transformed into a terrifying meteor that blocked out the sun.
The meteor dragged a long trail of flame, carrying an aura of destruction that would incinerate everything, and crashed down toward the direction where Rin was located.
That majestic momentum made even the battle-hardened Rin unable to help but admire it, a trace of approval flashing in his Crimson Sharingan.
But he had no intention of dodging at all; instead, he slightly curled the corners of his mouth, his smile carrying a hint of anticipation:
"The profound meaning of a combined Cursed Technique? Truly a stunning power. Just as well, I should show off something I've newly learned."
As his voice fell, Rin slowly chanted obscure incantations, his voice low and powerful:
"Nuclear energy, atoms, infinite fission."
Following the chanting of the incantations, a small ball of light the size of a fist slowly formed in his palm.
The light ball was silver-white throughout, its surface shimmering with a gentle yet terrifying energy-hiding luster. It not only contained the healing power of Reverse Cursed Technique but also fused the destructive power of standard Cursed Technique; it was a brand-new killing move Rin had developed by combining with War World.
"I've been at Jujutsu High for so long, after all; I can't just keep relying on old tricks."
Rin chuckled, raised his hand, and sent it forward; that small ball of light drifted slowly toward the massive meteor in the sky.
"When did you brat master this move? What is it called?" Inside Rin, Sukuna's voice carried rare astonishment, clearly intrigued by this never-before-seen Cursed Technique.
Rin offered no extra explanation, merely responding faintly in his heart:
"Its name is, Atomic Bomb."
In the sky, Jogo and Earth Fiend looked at the "counterattack" Rin had sent out, their faces full of confusion and anger.
That inconspicuous little ball of light was as tiny as dust in front of their meteor; this was simply blatant contempt!
"Bastard! Don't you dare underestimate our combo technique!"
The two Cursed Spirits roared again, driving their remaining Cursed Energy to boost the meteor's speed and power by another level.
Facing this terrifying attack capable of destroying a city, Rin just watched the light ball drifting toward the meteor calmly, and snapped his fingers lightly.
"Snap."
The crisp sound of the finger snap appeared exceptionally clear amidst the artillery-filled battlefield.
The next second, the contempt in Jogo and Earth Fiend's eyes instantly froze, replaced by extreme horror.
They only saw that the moment the small ball of light touched the meteor, it erupted with a dazzling radiance that could not be described with words.
That light was too intense, as if a second sun had appeared in an instant, illuminating the entire battlefield and even the distant mountains, making all other flames and light pale in comparison.
Immediately following that was a loud sound that shook the heavens and the earth.
"Boom—!!!"
The explosion that destroyed everything erupted instantly, and a terrifying shockwave swept outward in all directions like a tsunami, with the contact point of the light ball and the meteor as the center.
The meteor in the sky was instantly torn into fragments in the face of the nuclear explosion's energy, melted into lava, and then completely vaporized.
Jogo stood dumbfounded on the spot, unable to speak; his ears could no longer hear any sound, but Earth Fiend beside him pulled him directly into his arms, the broad embrace being Jogo's last sensation, and then the two Cursed Spirits were swallowed by this destructive power.
Rin's War World was shaken violently by the impact of the explosion, yet it still tenaciously held on, blocking most of the shockwave within the domain and avoiding wider-scale destruction.
He stood in the center of the domain, his body shrouded in a layer of Cursed Energy barrier, isolating him from the high heat and radiation, watching the mushroom cloud slowly rising before him, with not a ripple of emotion on his face.
"It seems the power of this move is not bad."
Rin said softly, the Cursed Energy in his palm slowly dissipating.
Sukuna inside his body was silent for a long time before letting out a cold snort carrying complex emotions:
"Brat, that's actually somewhat interesting."
The aftermath of the explosion gradually subsided, the mushroom cloud slowly dissipated, and the light in the sky gradually dimmed.
Rin's War World slowly shrank and dissipated, revealing the devastated battlefield below.
The ground had been forcibly blasted into a massive deep crater, the surrounding mountains all showed obvious signs of collapse, and the air was filled with thick smoke and the aura of lingering energy.
