Chapter 1: Reaching the Pirate King — Nami Becomes a Divine Servant

"Why?

Why are you hitting me!" A young man wearing a security guard uniform was being pinned to the ground and beaten by a male and female property owner.

The young man cried out in grief and fury.

"Keep your opinions to yourself!" A middle-aged man dressed in an Ability Enforcement Squad uniform sneered dismissively, looking down at the young security guard collapsed on the ground.

"Honey, did we hit the wrong person?" The female property owner, wearing a pandemic face mask, crouched down and pulled off the young security guard's mask. Seeing an unfamiliar face, she blinked in surprise and asked her husband with confusion.

"...This is a lesson for the property management!" The male property owner, dressed in his Ability Enforcement Squad uniform, also blinked upon seeing the unfamiliar young guard, then let out a cold laugh. Without another word, he grabbed his wife and walked away.

The young security guard — nose bruised, face swollen — watched the couple leave, his heart filled with grievance and rage. They beat the wrong person and still acted so arrogant!

"So what if you're a property owner? Disgusting! If I had money, I would definitely hit back!! If only…" The young security guard's entire body burned with pain. He kept hissing through his teeth, not a single ounce of strength left in him. Unable to move, he could only stare up resentfully at the dazzling sun peeking through the clouds. That sun was really an eyesore!

That sun was definitely mocking him!

"Young man, you seem unhappy, don't you? I can see that your bones are extraordinary. I have something here for you…" An old man dressed in a black cloak appeared in his line of sight out of nowhere, flashing a set of bright yellow teeth as he spoke gently.

"Where did you come from? You're not a resident of this community! Get out! And put on a mask! It's a special period right now — how dare you walk around without a mask!" Tang Fei stared at the strangely behaving old man and shut down whatever he was about to say before he could even finish it.

"You… you really are an upright security guard. What a pity — you're just a security guard. A helpless nobody with no power to fight back. But if you had a powerful Ability…" The old man produced a thick, pitch-black book from seemingly nowhere. The cover was carved with all sorts of symbols and characters.

Tang Fei recognized what this was — it was a Summoner's Book! Tang Fei suddenly sat upright, snatching the book from the old man's hands before he could react, startling the elder.

"This Dark Summoning Book — one hundred yuan." The old man revealed a kind, warm smile and said gently.

"Dark Summoning Techniques: Dark Attribute Creature Enslavement, Undead Creature Enslavement, and Sacrificial Summoning…" Tang Fei read through it. "Is this real?" The originally obscure magical text was completely readable to him — as though he had known it since birth.

"Young man, this Dark Summoning Book — one hundred yuan," the old man said patiently and warmly again, urging the young security guard who was ignoring him.

"Alright…" Tang Fei nodded, but the simple act of reaching into his pocket made him hiss sharply. It hurt so much!

He had barely pulled out a one-hundred-yuan note and handed it over when, the instant the old man received it, the black book in Tang Fei's hands suddenly opened on its own. A complex magical formation appeared beneath him.

"Goodbye."

Tang Fei watched as the old man in front of him suddenly seemed to grow enormous. The weathered, age-lined face became young and strikingly handsome, and the black cloak on his body transformed into six pairs of black wings!

"You tricked me!" Tang Fei roared in furious grief from within the black magical formation.

The black formation spun rapidly, and a beam of black light burst out from its center, shooting straight toward the sky.

When the black pillar of light disappeared — so did Tang Fei.

---

*"Mom… Evil Dragon… I will definitely kill you…"*

Inside a narrow and dark little wooden cabin, a young girl with short orange hair was biting down hard on her lower lip, suppressing her voice, trying not to let it escape too loudly. Her large and beautiful eyes were filled with fear, despair, and hatred.

The orange-haired girl wiped away her tears, took several deep breaths, then pulled out a pencil and began carefully drawing the surrounding sea routes on a large sheet of white paper.

This was a nautical map!

Just as she was fully absorbed in drawing the chart, a voice appeared near her ear:

*"Are you willing to offer your life as the price to take revenge and wash away your shame?"*

"I am willing!" The beautiful girl was startled by the voice near her ear, but she quickly composed herself and answered.

*"Good. I, Lucifer, accept your offer! Welcome the arrival of the Dark Emissary — hahaha…"*

When the voice faded, Nami looked around with a face full of hopeful anticipation.

A black magical formation suddenly appeared outside her cabin. Each ring was composed of countless black symbols, one circle nested inside another, all of them spinning on their own.

As Nami watched closely, a handsome black-haired young man slowly floated up from within the formation, his eyes closed.

---

"Where is this place?" Tang Fei looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings — an old-fashioned wooden cabin, an orange grove carrying the sweet fragrance of citrus fruit, and a beautiful orange-haired girl — and he couldn't help but ask her.

"This is Coco Village. This is my home…" Nami stared in surprise at the suddenly appeared black-haired young man, then asked with delight, "Are you the Dark Emissary that Lucifer mentioned?"

"If there's no one else around, then I suppose I must be…" Tang Fei's mouth twitched awkwardly. He let out a helpless sigh and spoke in resignation — though even as he said it, his eyes were filled with barely concealed excitement.

When Tang Fei had arrived in an endless void of darkness, he had come face-to-face with the twelve-winged Dark Angel from mythology — Lucifer, one of the supreme figures of the Dark Faction.

Because the Dark Faction had been continuously waging war against the world of Light, the combat strength at the top of their pyramid had been severely depleted and urgently needed to be replenished.

So Lucifer had planned to recruit several Dark Authority Holders to represent them and bring talented individuals into the Dark Faction's ranks. Tang Fei happened to be the final Dark Authority Holder Lucifer had been searching for — a Dark Summoner.

Lucifer had allowed Tang Fei to choose the conditions of his descent, such as what type of beings he preferred, what kind of personality he liked, and so on.

Tang Fei didn't hesitate for even a single second before stating his conditions: beautiful women from the world of anime — whether mature older women, young girls, or middle-aged beauties, it didn't matter.

---

"Are you truly willing to give up your life? You should know that once you offer your life, you will be completely under my control!" Tang Fei revealed an evil smile and emphasized the point once more.

"Of course," Nami said without the slightest hesitation.

"Good. Hold out your right hand." Tang Fei broke into a delighted smile and said.

Inside his mind, a thick, black book appeared — this was the Dark Summoning Book that Lucifer had given him!

As he opened the first page of the Dark Summoning Book, the following appeared:

> **Master:** Tang Fei

>

> **Innate Talent — Primordial Magic Body:** Details unknown. Function unknown. Talent rank: unknown.

>

> **Perfect Control:** Complete mastery over magic, perfect control over summoned beasts. Talent rank: ★★★★★★★★★★ (10 Stars)

>

> **Physique:** 20 (Normal adult: 10 / Rank 2 / 200 kg strength)

>

> **Spiritual Power:** 35 (Normal human: 10 / Rank 3 / Determines level of creatures that can be enslaved)

>

> **Magic Power:** 20 (Normal human: 0 / Rank 2 / Determines level of creatures that can be summoned)

Tang Fei skimmed through those four lines and then scrolled further down…

*Summoning… Enslavement… Sacrifice… Healing… Divine Servant…*

Tang Fei's eyes lit up the moment he saw the **Divine Servant** skill. That's the one!

He silently activated the Divine Servant skill, and a line of explanation immediately appeared:

> *A being with potential, on the premise of voluntarily surrendering their life and freedom, becomes Tang Fei's servant — completely obedient to his commands and incapable of defying them.*

Lucifer had informed Tang Fei that alongside becoming his direct subordinate, there would be a special benefit: for every ten levels gained, Tang Fei could permanently bind one Divine Servant. However, once a person was chosen, it could not be changed. As for right now — just having arrived in a new world — Lucifer was granting Tang Fei one immediate chance to bind a Divine Servant, so that he wouldn't die helplessly the moment he arrived.

---

As Nami extended her fair and delicate little hand, Tang Fei asked gently and softly, "What is your name?"

"My name is Nami," Nami took a few deep breaths and looked at Tang Fei with determined eyes.

"Good. Remember this — I am your husband!" Tang Fei declared loudly, and before he even finished speaking, he grabbed Nami's small hand firmly.

"Husband?!" Nami heard Tang Fei's words and was instantly stunned. As she looked at him in astonishment, a black magical formation — the same one she had seen before — appeared beneath her feet, though the symbols on it were different this time.

**Book Spirit:** *Congratulations, Master, on binding one Divine Servant. Now analyzing the Divine Servant's aptitude… Analysis complete…*

Tang Fei clearly saw a line of black characters appear in his vision — characters he had never seen before, yet somehow understood perfectly…

> **Divine Servant:** Nami

>

> **Innate Talent — Heavenly Demon Body:** Capable of receiving all manner of living beings and completely controlling and commanding them. Talent rank: ★★★★★★★★★ (9 Stars)

>

> **Physique:** 50 (Normal human: 10 / Rank 5 / 500 kg strength)

>

> **Spiritual Power:** 20 (Normal human: 10 / Rank 2)

>

> **Magic Power:** 50 (Normal human: 0 / Rank 5)

>

> **Recommended Classes:** Magic Spirit Fighter (9 Stars) / Dark Attribute Mage (9 Stars) / Dark Attribute Elementalist (9 Stars)

"What is the maximum star rating for class aptitude? And how many classes can she choose?" Tang Fei asked in pleasant surprise.

"The maximum is ten stars. She may only choose one class," the Book Spirit replied promptly in magical text.

"You are now my person. I can make you powerful — strong enough to take revenge with your own hands. However, there are three options: Magic Spirit Fighter, Dark Attribute Mage, and Dark Attribute Elementalist. You can only choose one, and it cannot be changed." Tang Fei relayed the choices directly to Nami and let her decide for herself.

All three had equally high aptitude ratings, so any of them would be excellent. It all came down to which one she preferred — if she liked it, her motivation to train would naturally be stronger, and her speed of growth would naturally be much faster.

"Help me analyze it. I really don't know," Nami said, blinking at the three unfamiliar class names in bewilderment.

She knew about Devil Fruits — but what in the world was a Magic Spirit Fighter? What was a Dark Attribute Mage?

"With your current strength, if you become a Magic Spirit Fighter you'll immediately be at Level 10 power. If you become a Dark Attribute Elementalist you'll start at Level 2, and if you become a Dark Attribute Mage you'll start at Level 5. These levels are only temporary starting points — they're not fixed."

Tang Fei explained it in the most straightforward way he could.

Quick-witted and sharp as she was, Nami had never heard of these things before — but her analytical ability was exceptional. She thought it over for a brief moment and then said firmly, "Then I'll choose Magic Spirit Fighter. All three have the same aptitude, but I can be strong right now — I don't want to wait any longer!"

Seeing the determination in Nami's eyes, Tang Fei smiled, gave a nod, and said, "Alright. Bear with it for a moment."

Tang Fei grabbed Nami's right hand with his left, then gently placed his right hand on her forehead and silently activated: **Magic Spirit Fighter**.

A massive black magical formation appeared above Nami's head, spinning rapidly in place. It shrank faster and faster, compressing into a single black dot that landed directly on Nami's forehead.

"A dark-version Buddha mark…" Tang Fei muttered under his breath, the corner of his mouth twitching as he let out a small smile.

"So this is the Magic Spirit Fighter? It's incredible!" Nami broke into a bright and cheerful smile. She could clearly feel power surging through every inch of her body, filling her with boundless excitement. With this strength — revenge was now just around the corner!

Tang Fei checked Nami's current stats:

> **Divine Servant:** Nami (Magic Spirit Fighter / Aptitude: ★★★★★★★★★ 9 Stars)

>

> **Physique:** 100 (Normal human: 10 / Rank 10 / 1,000 kg strength)

>

> **Spiritual Power:** 20 (Normal human: 10 / Rank 2)

>

> **Magic Power:** 100 (Normal human: 0 / Rank 10)

>

> **Magic Spirit:** None (A Magic Spirit can possess the host to enhance their power)

>

> **Magic Spirit Combat Skills:** None (Skills are obtained after a Magic Spirit possesses the host)

"Not bad, not bad, not bad," Tang Fei said approvingly, even though he didn't fully understand the two new lines at the bottom — he encouraged her all the same.

"What is a Magic Spirit? And can I travel to other worlds?" Tang Fei quickly turned to ask the Book Spirit.

**Book Spirit:** *A Magic Spirit is a creature or undead from within the Dark Faction's domain. Master can certainly travel to other worlds — however, it requires someone in that world to voluntarily offer themselves as a sacrifice first.*

"Got it. Now I'm going to summon something." Tang Fei smiled at Nami, his eyes filled with anticipation. He was curious to see what he could actually summon.

As a black magical formation appeared in an open area and spun rapidly, a lion-shaped dog slowly floated up out of the ground…

"What the—!" Tang Fei stared at the proudly dignified little dog and instinctively checked its stats…
