As the three of them turned to leave the room, Kulu lingered near the foot of the bed. He tapped the side of his tracking visor, transferring the structural maps of Bunker-06 and Bunker-07 directly to Hana's handheld tablet on the bedside table.
"The internal scans of the Sun Peak bunkers are still loading," Kulu murmured, his amber eyes reflecting the soft glow of the screen.
"Good work, Kulu," She said. "Get some rest. Things are about to get hectic from now on,"
Kulu nodded, offering a rare, subtle smile before he too stepped out of the chamber, leaving only Caspian sitting beside her, his hand still firmly holding hers.
Hana leaned back into the pillows, her gaze falling onto little Zariyah, who had drifted back to sleep, completely oblivious to the shadow of the old world hanging over her head.
