Kojima Ren was in the middle of a training session with his servants when the System alert rang out across the entire island.
[Ding! World Announcement!]
Sky Sovereign Raijin Kurogane has begun aggressive expansion.
His forces have conquered three small floating islands in the northern sector and are now moving southward.
Raijin has declared that all unclaimed territories within reach will be absorbed into his kingdom.
Any resistance will be met with full force.
The message hung in the air like a warning. Kojima's expression hardened. The name "Raijin" still carried the weight of old scars, but now it was tied to a real, growing threat.
Kojima: He's already on the move. Typical Raijin — taking whatever he wants without asking.
Just then, a scout from one of the smaller nearby islands arrived through a small portal. The man looked exhausted and frightened.
Scout: Sovereign Kojima! Raijin's forces sent a messenger. They're demanding we surrender our islands or face conquest. They said their king remembers weaklings from the old world… and he won't tolerate any "pathetic virgins" trying to play sovereign here.
The words hit Kojima like a slap. Raijin hadn't forgotten him. In fact, he seemed to be enjoying the idea of crushing his old target all over again.
Kojima clenched his fists, the memory of being shoved against lockers and beaten behind the school building flashing through his mind.
Kojima: He's the same arrogant bully. Rich, spoiled, rude, and perverted. Back in school he forced girls to submit and laughed about it. Now he's doing the same thing on a kingdom scale.
Sylphira stood close, her long red hair moving slightly in the breeze. She spoke calmly.
Sylphira: Master… what do we do?
Mira's eyes narrowed, her voice sharp.
Mira: If he wants a fight, we'll give him one.
Vaelor's expression turned cold, his usual wit gone.
Vaelor: Master, this Raijin sounds exactly like the type who deserves a very memorable defeat.
Liriel floated nearby, her silver hair swirling.
Liriel: My winds can scout ahead if needed, Master.
Thorne planted his feet firmly, roots spreading into the ground.
Thorne: My barriers will hold. Let him come.
Kojima took a deep breath and looked toward the northern horizon. Dark clouds seemed to gather in that direction, a visual sign of Raijin's growing influence.
Kojima: We don't surrender. We don't run. We prepare and defend what's ours. Raijin thinks he can step on everyone like he did in school. This time he's wrong.
The group immediately shifted into action. Vaelor and Thorne began reinforcing the outer defenses with shadows and living wood. Liriel used her winds to create early warning currents around the island. Sylphira and Mira started training drills, focusing on coordinated attacks.
Kojima stood at the center, the weight of the coming conflict settling on his shoulders. The bully from his past was now a rival sovereign building an empire through fear and force.
But Kojima was no longer the helpless high school kid.
He had a kingdom. He had loyal servants. And he had the power of a dragon running through his veins.
