Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Can I Hit Him?

In the end, Zeff left, because Sanji swore he absolutely would not bother the customers.

The result?

The moment Zeff was gone, Sanji started bothering them anyway… well, "bothering" wasn't quite the right word. It was more like he started pouring on the charm for Nico Robin, his eyes practically welded to her.

No wonder even Zoro had certified him as a complete pervert. When this guy saw a beautiful woman, he really did forget how to walk.

No one knew how that habit of his had gotten so bad.

As for Nico Robin, she actually wasn't annoyed by Sanji's overeager attention.

Having read the story, she naturally knew that while Sanji was absolutely a shameless flirt, he really was all talk.

In the actual plot, he never truly took advantage of women.

He was, in fact, a genuine gentleman.

Naturally, Robin didn't mind giving a man like that a few smiles. With a warm smile and a few soft words, she ordered several dishes, and Sanji was immediately so dazzled he could barely tell north from south. He thumped his chest and rushed off to cook for her.

Seeing that, Rowan couldn't help muttering, "I swear this guy's going to die at a woman's hands someday."

Robin smiled faintly but didn't comment, because she felt the same way. Sanji was simply too soft when it came to women, and sooner or later, he was bound to suffer for it.

After all, there was no shortage of bad women in this world.

At one point, she herself had absolutely counted as one.

"By the way," Rowan asked curiously, looking at Robin, "how does it feel meeting one of your future crewmates?"

"He's a good man," Robin said, "but whether or not we ever become companions will depend on fate."

Robin didn't think she would ever join the Straw Hat Pirates.

The life shown in the story was certainly exciting. She met many people and ended up with many powerful companions.

But right now, what she wanted more was to help the Revolutionary Army overthrow the World Government and save this world.

Not join the Straw Hats and go adventuring with Luffy.

So whether she and Sanji would ever become companions really did depend on fate.

Seeing the calm, detached look on Robin's face, Rowan shrugged and changed the subject.

About half an hour later, the dishes Rowan and Robin had ordered were personally brought over by Sanji.

Rowan picked up his spoon and started eating the seafood risotto.

Robin, meanwhile, elegantly cut off a piece of fish steak and placed it in her mouth.

Only Hashirama sat there in front of the two of them, looking at the table full of food without the slightest interest.

That surprised Sanji.

"You're not eating?"

Surely this guy wasn't looking down on his cooking and finding it bad. That couldn't be right.

To impress this stunning blonde beauty, Sanji had put in one hundred and twenty percent effort.

Yes—Robin was still using the Transformation Technique and maintaining Tsunade's appearance, so to everyone else, she looked like a gorgeous blonde woman.

Hashirama, of course, had no idea what Sanji was thinking. Hearing the question, he simply shook his head.

"Thank you, but I'm not hungry."

And that was the honest truth.

In his Edo body, he couldn't taste anything, nor could he feel hunger.

So there was no need for Hashirama to eat at all. Doing so would just be wasting food.

What a weird guy.

Sanji couldn't help grumbling inwardly. Then he pulled his gaze back and looked at Robin again, his body twisting like a noodle in a way that was honestly kind of disgusting.

"Miss Tsunade, how do you find today's dishes?"

That's right—Robin had not only borrowed Tsunade's appearance, but also her name.

After all, the reputation of the "Devil Child" was far too infamous.

Using her real name would easily invite unnecessary trouble and misunderstandings. And since Tsunade herself wasn't in this world anyway, Robin felt absolutely no psychological burden about borrowing Tsunade's name and face.

Tsunade: ???

"The food is excellent," Robin said in praise.

As a woman who had seen plenty of the world, she genuinely felt Baratie's food was delicious.

Among all the good things she had eaten in her life, it was easily in the top five.

The moment Sanji heard that, he started twisting even faster, which somehow made the whole thing even more revolting.

Rowan only glanced at him a few times before hurriedly looking away and focusing all his attention on the seafood risotto in front of him.

He was honestly afraid he might throw up if he looked any longer.

How could someone twist their body into something that gross? He had never noticed it when reading the manga.

It seemed there really was a difference between 2D and 3D.

Of course, even though Sanji looked kind of nauseating, there was no denying that his cooking was incredible.

This seafood risotto was so rich and delicious that Rowan actually felt like he was tasting the sea itself.

It was as if all the seafood in the world had been gathered into this one dish.

In reality, of course, that was just an illusion.

After eating about one-fifth of it, Rowan found he couldn't keep going. Partly because the food in this world was insanely nutritious, and partly because the people here were way too sincere with their portions.

A single serving of seafood risotto came on a plate the size of a washbasin. Who the hell was supposed to finish that?

With no other choice, Rowan pushed the rest toward Robin.

"It's yours."

Ever since learning how to extract chakra, Robin had been extracting chakra for three hours every single day without fail. After putting her cells through that kind of strain, she needed a huge amount of nutrition to replenish herself.

As a result, Robin's appetite had kept growing bigger and bigger.

One meal for her was worth ten Rowans.

Forget one serving of seafood risotto—even several more servings wouldn't be a problem.

"No problem."

After elegantly finishing all the food she had ordered for herself, Robin casually polished off the rest of Rowan's seafood risotto as well.

And somehow her stomach still looked flat, as if it were some kind of extra-dimensional space.

The human body really was mysterious.

Watching that, Sanji was both shocked and contemptuous.

Shocked because a woman like Robin could eat so much.

Contemptuous because Rowan, a grown man, couldn't even finish a single serving of seafood risotto.

The gap was just too ridiculous.

Oh, hell no.

Feeling Sanji's contemptuous gaze, Rowan couldn't help saying to Robin, "Can I hit him?"

Sanji clearly understood what Rowan meant. He slowly pulled out a cigarette, stuck it in his mouth, lit it with a lighter, and said calmly,

"I'd advise you not to, sir. You probably can't beat me."

In this world, the strong could all eat like monsters, because fighting consumed enormous amounts of energy.

And where did that energy come from?

Food, obviously.

Any real powerhouse could eat an absurd amount. Finishing an entire cow in one meal wouldn't even be strange.

So Sanji really didn't take Rowan seriously at all.

With an appetite like that, he could take on ten Rowans with one hand.

Ten.
