"Arthur... do your parents know about this?" Lolo asked raising an eyebrow.
Arthur eyes darkened immediately.
Jay's pov:
I slammed the folder on the desk.
Mama and papa looked at the old hags in pure disappointment.
"This is serious invasion of privacy. Section E has nothing to do with this!" I yelled with tears.
I know they care. But this?
This was too much.
The old hags didn't seem surprised.
"You know... your such a disappointment." Lola said.
But she didn't mean it. I could see it in her eyes.
"If she was a disappointment then why did you cry few days ago saying she made you proud even after you scolded her to focus more on studies rather than sports." Dad yelled.
Jare inhaled.
Because this was the first time dad had chose to defend us. He had always been scared of the old hags.
"Mom. If you don't care about her... Why did you cancel the engagement between Jason and Jay?" Mom stood up from her chair.
"Like we said we got profit." Lola said with steady calm voice.
Jare who had been silent the entire time, finally looked up from the folder.
"Bullshit!" He said in a low, stressed voice.
The old hags turned towards him.
"We got no profit. You both saw how much this hurt her. You! chose to cancel it because you didn't want her to be hurt." Jare countered.
No profit?
They cancelled it for me?
Their eyes immediately softened.
"Jare... We are afraid... We are afraid that you will-" Lola tried to explain.
"Betrayed?" Jare finished it off.
He laughed sarcastically.
"How can you know if someone is good or bad unless you don't get along?" Jare asked. "You haven't been the same with Jay after what Jax did. Yes! I agree what she did was wrong. But Jax did so much for us."
Jare's breathing was uneven.
Lolo lowered his head.
"I'm sorry. We are sorry children. To all of you. I know you guys have been seeing Jax..."
My Jaw clenched.
"Do you realise you invaded our private space?"
"Yes. We wanted to know if you will really go this far for friendship and love... guess you did. we haven't said this before... But we are proud of you." Lola said.

"What?" Percy whispered in disbelief.
Lola gently walked towards me and patted my head. While lolo patted Jare's.
"Go and have fun. Go on a date both of you."
"And bring Jax home. We would love to meet our daughter in law" Lola added.
We watched them walk away.
"That... was fast." Dad whispered.
Mom nodded.
"They are weird." Dane said.
Me and Jare nodded.
Jre walked over to Mia and Held her hand.
"Let's go out on a date."
He pulled Mia away from us.
"Wow... the vice president ignored us." Caroline said.
Savannah sighed.
"They are not so bad." Eliot said.
Lia nodded.
"I think they agreed because of my handsomeness today." Percy grinned. Only to get smacked by jason right on his head.
"Good Job" Sarah smiled.
"Maaaaaa" Percy yelled.
"Shut up percy." Mom looked away, hiding a laugh.
Keifer walked towards me and leaned down to whisper.
"Shall we continue what we left a month ago wifey?" He whispered in a flirty tone.
I didn't get the time to react he pulled me away from the crowd.
