The signal went off and I pushed off the ground attacking the first person, they were around F rank.
"Hup-"
Quickly raising my sword, I slashed at them and easily knocked them down to the ground.
This was only this first person though, I can't let my guard down. Swiftly turning towards the next person I noticed something wrong.
There were 4 more shadows on the floor.
I looked around, and 7 people had already surrounded me, rendering me cornered.
I narrowed my eyes and frowned, opening my mouth a weird sound came out.
"Ughhh."
Their so annoying.
They must have figured out I was going to ruin their plan. Do they know Ren is in on this too?
Never mind that, I'll worry about Ren a little later. I'm in my own predicament.[1]
!Clank!Clank!
The sounds of swords clashing with each other rang through the air.
All of them directed at me.
"Haaa…haaaa fuck"
My breathing became rugged and my movements started to slow down, I couldn't keep up with them. They already landed multiple hits on me at this point.
All of them were under my rank but their were too many.
I started to back up a bit, should I use Overdrive yet?
No, I should wait until I've got rid of at least 3 more of them.
Thrusting my sword towards a rando caused a shield to envelope them, rendering them immobile.
"Huuu… okay, one down two more to-"
Just then, two E rankers attacked me. One using daggers, the other with magic.
The one with daggers swiftly came to my left side a slashed while the magic user on my right prepared a bigger attack.
All I did was throw myself backwards and I was out of their line of attack.
But I underestimated them, the other four attacked me front and back, completely surrounding me again.
"Ughhh…haaa…haaa"
Trying to regain my breath, I decided to use Overdrive. I concluded this as my last resort and now was the time.
Focusing myself I started to use the skill. my arms started to bulge, veins wriggling uncontrollably.
Suddenly, they all attacked me. I widely horizontally slashed at the ones in front of me taking out 3 of them.

What was that?
I turned around only to see that behind me one of them was on the ground. It looked like they tripped, but how could they make such a rookie mistake like that?
While thinking, I immediately attacked the one on the ground, thrusting my sword at them.
The shield enveloped them and I moved to attack the next person.
Still using Overdrive, I was heavily fatigued. Doing this for even another 2 minutes would cause me immense pain afterward.
So I decided to quickly finish them, but before I could move they instantly appeared in my face to attack me.
I thought I was imagining things, until I heard a faint sound.
