The day is hot and the Sun is drifting low, as the hustle and bustle of the bar gets louder.
During this evening, a beautiful young woman walks into the bar.
Aaron's eyes immediately locks onto her, a plan brewing in his head
Maybe if I walk up to her and offer to pay for her drinks then I'll have a chance
Aaron then leans into James' ear and says "See that girl?"
James nods
"I'm gonna ask her out, think it'll go well?
James shakes his head before sharing the news to the rest of the group
"Hey everyone, Aaron's gonna ask that girl out"
The entire group laughs at him as a flush of red runs across Aaron's face as he gets up and calms himself down to offer to pay for the woman's drinks
He approaches, trying far too hard to act casual, even leaning on the bar to the left of the woman before saying
"So... You-"
He barely gets through his sentence before slipping and falling to the floor, bringing the entire bar's attention to him
The entire bar erupts into a roar of laughter before the woman stands up and crouches down by him
"You're cute, meet me outside later, we can talk then"
An idiotic smile makes it's way across Aaron's face, replacing the previous petrified look
As the woman stand sup sits back down, Aaron stumbles his way back onto his feet and makes his way back to the booth where the rest of the group sits
As he sits down, it becomes blatantly obvious that the entire table is holding in their intense laughter
Just a few seconds later, the whole booth explodes into laughter, Aaron trying to hide his happiness by looking down
Laura engages first, saying "That's really the best you could do?"
The rest of the group squeezes in their own jabs throughout the rest of the night until the woman leaves the bar, making brief but telling eye contact with Aaron
Aaron then says "I'm getting tired, i should head out" before following directly behind the woman
As the Sun falls on the third day of the group's stay in the capital as each of them returns to their rooms in the barracks
Darius steps into him and Aaron's shared room, rather quietly, being careful to not awaken the "sleeping" Aaron, just to be met by rustling and giggling coming from Aaron's bed
Darius then quickly leaves the room and makes his way to Edwin's room, looking for a new place to sleep for the night
As Darius pushes open the door of Edwin's room, he's surprised to see Edwin laying in his bed, staring at the ceiling
He then speaks up, saying "Yo, big guy, can I sleep in here tonight"
Edwin then makes a grunt of approval as Darius lays down in the empty bed and drifts into sleep
