Chapter 268 - Chapter 271 The Druid Home and Cultivation Civilization

"It's that blue raindrop!"

"That's the technique Lord Lin Ya showed in Lingxiao City!"

The sight of a single blue raindrop instantly triggered everyone's memories. Qi Ping had used these very droplets to blast several famous Foundation Establishment Perfection cultivators into unrecognizable remains!

What terrified everyone even more was that in Lingxiao City, the droplets had been the size of actual raindrops; this one was the size of a fist! There was no doubt this attack was far more powerful than the one he had used before! Even with their eyes closed, people could sense the terrifying energy contained within that droplet!

The most horrified were the Tower Master of Cloud-Rain and the Pavilion Master of Carefree, who were standing closest to Qi Ping. One was at the late stage of Foundation Establishment and the other at Perfection; their proximity allowed them to feel the lethal power of the spell more clearly than anyone else! That was something that could absolutely end their lives!

They exchanged a glance, seeing the shared relief in each other's eyes.

'Damn, thank goodness I came! Otherwise, I'd be facing the same fate as Fortune Commerce!'

With that thought, they couldn't help but offer a silent prayer for Fortune Commerce.

After Qi Ping released the Abyssal Blue Raindrop, it streaked toward Fortune Commerce with terrifying speed and piercing power!

BOOM!

The droplet instantly struck the Fortune Commerce's defensive formation, shattering it in the blink of an eye before continuing its path inward! A figure at Foundation Establishment Perfection suddenly appeared in its path, unleashing his strongest spell and sacrificial weapon to block the attack.

In an instant, an even more terrifying explosion erupted! A shockwave of immense power swept out in all directions, accompanied by a blooming fire of blue flames. Almost instantly, a large portion of Fortune Commerce's compound collapsed, with blue fire burning everywhere.

In the center of the explosion, a heavily injured man lay gasping for air. This was the President of Fortune Commerce, a late-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator!

When others saw his wretched state, they felt a chill run down their spines. What horrifying destructive power! From such a distance, it had not only shattered the formation but nearly killed the President and incinerated half the property!

Everyone instinctively swallowed. Qi Ping's ruthlessness hadn't changed at all; if anything, he was even more terrifying!

"Five breaths. Send someone else up," Qi Ping said coldly.

This time, there was no waiting. Upon hearing his voice, the Vice-President of Fortune Commerce, a middle-stage Foundation Establishment cultivator, immediately took flight. He didn't dare waste a second.

"This humble one is the Vice-President of Fortune Commerce. Greetings, Lord Lin Ya!" he said, trembling as he bowed.

Qi Ping ignored the pleasantries and spoke directly. "I have recently received word that someone has found 'evidence' of my dereliction of duty. They say I have failed my responsibilities as Warden, leading to a surge of major crimes in my jurisdiction. It just so happens the three biggest crimes are linked to your three factions. Give me an explanation!"

He scanned the three of them. That single glance was more than enough to make their hearts stop. Only when truly facing him did they understand the meaning of "terror."

"Lord, we were unaware of the matters below—"

The Pavilion Master of Carefree tried to answer, but before he could finish, a blue raindrop shot toward his arm. This time, the droplet wasn't fast, but the Pavilion Master didn't dare to dodge. He watched in horror as it struck his left arm. With a muffled bang, his arm vanished, leaving only a mangled, bloody stump.

"I don't like that answer. Try another one that satisfies me," Qi Ping said indifferently after crippling the man's arm.

This act instantly extinguished any thoughts the other two had about using bureaucratic excuses to stall until the Hurricane Sword-Seed arrived. If they dared say another word Qi Ping disliked, their heads would likely follow that arm.

It was obvious what answer Qi Ping wanted.

"Lord! I will personally see to it that every individual involved in this plot to frame you is tortured to death. The evidence of their crimes will be delivered to the Qing-Immortal Manor within an hour. Furthermore, the details of their scheme will be announced to the entire city!" the Tower Master of Cloud-Rain promised, bowing low.

A cold sneer flickered in Qi Ping's heart. They were still trying to play games? As if they didn't already know everything perfectly well.

But he knew it wasn't time to truly flip the table yet. Even though his killing intent surged every time he saw the cruel details of their crimes and the broken families left in their wake, he had to restrain himself for the sake of the long-term future.

His killing intent had been at its peak when he first arrived in Starfall City. Many low-level cultivators, drawn by his name, had gathered their life savings just to beg him to save their loved ones. They were willing to give everything, even their lives as his slaves. Hearing those stories of ruin made Qi Ping want to go on a rampage. He couldn't ignore these things; he despised a world where men were eaten by men.

But to solve the problem once and for all, he had to endure. He had to wait until his Heavenly Extinction Yin-Yang Array and Five Elements Cycle Array were successfully deployed. On that day, he would use the Qingyuan Sect's own rules to send every single one of those criminals to hell!

One day, he would build the Qingtian Domain into a harmonious, symbiotic home, no matter how difficult it was. Human civilization could have competition, struggle, and natural selection, but it should not be an ecosystem where one's own kind is herded like cattle.

'A Civilization Druid, a guardian of cultivation civilization...'

With that thought, Qi Ping looked at the other two who hadn't answered. The Pavilion Master and the Vice-President immediately nodded, pledging to follow the Tower Master's lead.

"In one hour, I want to see results," Qi Ping said.

"Yes, Lord!" The three immediately flew back to their respective factions.

Once they were gone, Qi Ping turned to Han Li. "How many other factions were involved in this?"

"Senior Brother, five more," Han Li replied.

"Good!"

Moments later, Qi Ping called out five more names. This time, there were no surprises. Representatives from all five factions appeared instantly, promising to execute all those involved and deliver the evidence Qi Ping required. Furthermore, they each presented a storage bag as a "token of apology" for the incident.

Qi Ping didn't even glance at the bags, handing them directly to Han Li and Zhang Da-niu to split. He didn't lack such meager resources; he'd rather use them to speed up their cultivation. Compared to a few spirit stones, having these two loyal friends who could handle matters for him was far more precious.
