Deep beneath the earth, in an underground city of Transylvania, something was born.
Not from life. Not from death.
From nothingness.
It had no shape, yet it existed.
A mass of darkness that writhed like a living flame, unending, unfaded. Creatures that thrived in the night, vampires, werewolves, even the grotesque feared it and kept their distance from it. They didn't want to understand it.
Because this thing was not part of their world.....
It was darker than the night itself. The night itself would be scared of its existence if it were a living being. If darkness had a will, if shadows could feel, they would have trembled before it.
It was a pit of a dark flame-like entity. Completely different from human souls.
It wanted a vessel.
A humanoid vessel to do something by its own will.
A desire so vile, so twisted that even criminals, the cruelest beings in the underworld, get recoiled by its bloodlust.
A faint whisper crawled out of its existence.
"K...i....llll ....I.... Blood....." .
Not hunger,
Not thirst.
Something far more disturbing.
It didn't crave blood to drink.
It craved the act itself.
The spilling.
The suffering.
And so, it moved.
Leaving the depths of Transylvania behind, it drifted across the world… searching.
Until—
It found him.....
