Chapter 411 - Might Guy vs. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

Chapter 411: Might Guy vs. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist

Facing the mocking laughter of the legendary swordsmen, Might Guy stood perfectly still. His knuckles popped as he clenched his fists, the leather of his gloves groaning under the strain. The usual goofy warmth vanished from his face, replaced by a cold, hard shadow that darkened his eyes.

"Don't you dare..."

His voice was a low, dangerous rumble.

"...insult my father!"

A violent shockwave of pure green chakra erupted from Guy's body. The sheer pressure of it tore the topsoil from the earth. Jagged pieces of gravel and broken weapons were ripped into the air, suspended in the anti-gravity field of his raging aura.

"The First Gate, the Gate of Opening, open!"

Guy released a guttural growl. Thick blue veins bulged across his forehead and neck, pulsing like angry worms. The brain's natural limiters snapped. His muscle fibers forcibly unlocked, mobilizing one hundred percent of his body's latent strength in a fraction of a second.

But he did not stop there.

"The Second Gate, the Gate of Healing, open!"

"The Third Gate, the Gate of Life, open!"

The green aura violently expanded, roaring like a localized hurricane. Guy's skin flushed a deep, boiling red.

Watching this unnatural surge of power, Fuguki Suikazan's lazy, nonchalant smirk stiffened.

Beside him, Jinin Akebino let out a cold, dismissive snort. He hoisted the massive Blunt Sword: Kabutowari over his shoulder, the heavy iron hammer and axe blade clanking together.

"I don't care how many gates the monkey opens!" Jinin barked. "I'll crush him flat with a single swing of my hammer! Attack!"

At his command, five of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist blurred into motion, launching a synchronized, overwhelming assault.

In the rear, Murai Shimada and the rest of the Konoha shinobi watched with their hearts lodged in their throats.

"Jonin Guy! Be careful!"

Yet, facing a tidal wave of lethal blades and killing intent, Guy simply drew in a long, deep breath.

"The Fourth Gate, the Gate of Pain, open!"

"The Fifth Gate, the Gate of Limit, open!"

The earth beneath Guy's feet instantly cratered, spiderweb fractures spreading out for meters.

Then, he vanished.

There was no blur, no afterimage. Just empty air. Pure, unadulterated physical speed that completely shattered the limits of human retinal capture.

Jinin Akebino's giant hammer slammed into the empty crater, kicking up a massive geyser of dirt and dust. The heavy weapon struck nothing but rock.

"Where is he?" Jinin gasped, his eyes widening in shock as he looked up.

A streak of blinding green light materialized directly in front of his face.

"Right here!"

Guy threw a plain, unadorned straight punch.

The fist slammed into Jinin's stomach with the force of a falling meteor. The kinetic impact was so devastating that the air itself cracked. Jinin's torso instantly caved in, and a split second later, his entire body violently blew apart into a shower of dust and debris.

"How can he be this strong?"

The remaining swordsmen skidded to a halt, their faces draining of color. This speed. This power. The man in the green jumpsuit was not a ninja. He was a monster.

"Don't daze off!" Jinpachi Munashi roared. "Blastsword: Shibuki!"

He swung his massive, scroll-wrapped broadsword down in a vicious arc. Countless explosive tags peeled off the blade and detonated in a blinding chain reaction, creating a towering wall of fire meant to force Guy back.

Flames scorched the sky, turning the battlefield into an inferno.

But a heartbeat later, a howling gale tore a massive hole straight through the center of the explosion.

Guy shot out from the smoke, entirely unscathed, his green chakra flaring like a localized sun.

"The Sixth Gate, the Gate of View, open!"

The air around him warped and distorted. His speed violently multiplied yet again.

"Morning Peacock!"

Guy unleashed a barrage of punches so fast they defied physics. The sheer friction between his fists and the atmosphere ignited the air, generating blinding, high-temperature flames. Thousands of burning fist-shadows painted the sky, fanning out in a magnificent, deadly arc like a peacock spreading its tail.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Fuguki Suikazan, Jinpachi Munashi, Kushimaru Kuriarare, and Ameyuri Ringo did not even have the time to blink. The rain of flaming meteors swallowed them whole.

Their bodies were systematically pulverized in mid-air, blown to absolute pieces. Shredded limbs and torsos rained down onto the scorched earth like tattered, discarded ragdolls.

In a single, breathless exchange, the legendary Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist had been entirely wiped out.

The Konoha shinobi standing in the rear were frozen, their jaws slack.

Was this Jonin Guy's true strength? Was this the same goofy, eccentric man who spent his days shouting about the springtime of youth and forcing his students into ridiculous training exercises?

He was too strong. Ridiculously, terrifyingly strong.

However, Guy did not relax his stance. His eyes remained locked on the carnage.

On the ground, the charred and shattered limbs began to rustle. The chunks of flesh and bone dissolved into countless pieces of grayish-white paper. Like a swarm of locusts, the paper scraps rapidly swirled, gathered, and reassembled.

In a matter of seconds, the five swordsmen who had just been reduced to ash stood back up. Their bodies were completely intact, not a single scratch remaining.

"Hehehe..."

Jinpachi cracked his neck, letting out a grating, bone-chilling laugh. "What a pity. We are immortal."

Kushimaru smiled sinisterly beneath his mask, casually reaching down to pluck the Longsword: Nuibari from the dirt.

"It's useless, watermelon head," Kushimaru mocked. "No matter how many times you break us, we will simply put ourselves back together. And how long can your stamina possibly last? Maintaining that ridiculous state must be tearing your muscles apart, right?"

Fuguki sneered, his massive frame looming through the settling dust. "This is the true terror of Edo Tensei. Infinite chakra. An immortal vessel."

A suffocating blanket of despair crashed down upon the Konoha shinobi.

They could not be killed. They simply could not be killed. How were they supposed to fight monsters that defied death itself?

Guy stared at the laughing corpses, his thick brows knitting together.

So this was the infamous Edo Tensei. It was indeed a massive problem.

Jinpachi watched Guy's frown deepen, and his arrogant smirk widened. "Even if your Taijutsu is unmatched, your mortal stamina will eventually run dry. The very second you collapse from exhaustion, I am going to slowly saw off your head."

Just then, a slightly panicked but fiercely determined voice rang out from the back of the Konoha formation.

"Senior Guy! Don't stop!"

Guy shifted his gaze slightly.

Pushing his way to the front of the terrified crowd was a young man with short black hair and black-rimmed glasses. He looked more like a scholar than a warrior, but his hands were tightly gripping a massive sealing scroll.

It was Taku Kimura, a Special Jonin of the Hidden Leaf. While his raw combat power was average, his mastery over Sealing Jutsu was widely recognized as one of the best among the younger generation.

"Senior Guy!" Taku shouted, his voice cracking slightly but holding firm. "Edo Tensei's physical recovery takes time! Even if it is only a gap of a few seconds!"

Taku pointed a trembling finger directly at the laughing Fuguki.

"Please, blow them apart again! Smash them into absolute dust! As long as they are forced into a recovery state, I have a jutsu that can seal them away!"

The mocking laughter of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen came to an abrupt, chilling halt.

Sealing Jutsu?

"Hehehe..." Jinin Akebino hoisted the giant Kabutowari, his face twisting into an ugly sneer. "Sealing Jutsu? From that trembling brat in glasses? Before he can even finish his hand signs, my hammer will have already pounded him into meat paste!"

On the other side of the battlefield, Guy's dark eyes instantly lit up.

"I see!" Guy exclaimed. "So I just need to smash them so thoroughly that they can't put themselves back together in time?"

Suddenly, the intense, deadly aura around Guy vanished for a fraction of a second as he flashed a brilliant, blinding smile and gave a massive thumbs up.

"Yoshi! That is exactly what I wanted to hear! Now, let me show you the true, explosive power of Konoha's Blue Beast!"

The raging green chakra wave surged higher, the sheer heat of it warping the air into a mirage.

A sudden, violent premonition of death gripped Fuguki's cold heart.

"Not good!" Fuguki roared, his eyes widening. "Quickly, scatter!"

But his warning came far too late. Against a Might Guy who had fully opened the Sixth Gate, any physical reaction was moving in slow motion.

"First one!" Guy's voice echoed from everywhere at once. "It's you, fatso!"

Guy's figure vanished.

The very next second, he materialized directly in the air above Fuguki's head.

There were no complex hand signs. No fancy elemental tricks. There was only physical speed pushed to the absolute extreme, and kinetic power as heavy as a collapsing mountain.

"Leaf Great Whirlwind!"

Guy's right leg cleaved down through the air like an executioner's battle-axe.

A deafening sonic boom shattered the clearing.

Fuguki's massive body instantly exploded under the crushing pressure. Scraps of Edo Tensei paper flew violently in every direction. His torso and limbs were pulverized into fine powder, leaving only his severed head to roll across the dirt, his face frozen in absolute terror.

Guy let out a roaring battle cry.

He did not need to give an order. Taku Kimura, who had been coiled like a spring, launched himself forward the moment Guy moved.

Taku sprinted across the cratered earth like a cheetah, his hands blurring through a complex sequence of seals.

"Sealing Jutsu: Cloth Binding Technique!"

The giant scroll on Taku's back unrolled. Several long, thick strips of white cloth, heavily inscribed with dense black sealing formulas, shot out from the parchment like striking vipers.

The enchanted fabric whipped through the air, instantly coiling around the swirling vortex of paper that was trying to rebuild Fuguki's body.

"What the hell is this?!" The severed head on the ground let out a panicked, furious scream. "Let me go! Get away from me!"

Taku completely ignored the monster's screaming. He slammed his palms together, locking his chakra into the final seal.

The black incantations on the cloth flared with a brilliant blue light.

The white fabric violently constricted, snapping tight and wrapping Fuguki's scattered remains into a massive, rigid mummy bundle. The swirling Edo Tensei dust, which had been frantically trying to reassemble, instantly went dead, completely paralyzed under the absolute suppression of the sealing jutsu.
