Chapter 310: The Bonus Brought by Naruto and the Nine-Tails
Night descended over Konoha.
The Uchiha compound lay quiet, but Uchiha Akira's mansion remained brightly lit, casting long shadows across the manicured courtyards. Dinner had concluded. Akira led Naruto and Hinata out through the sliding doors and into the expansive training ground behind the estate.
"Teacher, what are we doing out here, ya know?" Naruto scratched the back of his head, his blue eyes wide with curiosity. His stomach was full, and boundless energy radiated from his small frame.
Akira did not answer immediately. He stopped in the center of the clearing, raised his right hand, and swiped his fingers lightly through the empty air.
A dark rift tore open in the fabric of reality, its jagged edges emitting a faint, ethereal glow.
"This... this is!" Naruto's jaw dropped, forming a perfect 'O'. Beside him, Hinata's pale eyes widened to their absolute limits.
"Go in," Akira commanded, his voice perfectly level. He did not wait for their reaction, stepping smoothly into the glowing void.
Naruto did not hesitate for a single second. His absolute trust in his teacher eclipsed any instinctual fear of the unknown. He charged right in, his bright orange jacket vanishing into the dark. Hinata quickly gathered her courage, her small hands clenching into fists, and hurried after him.
As the two young students passed through the spatial tear, the sight that greeted them stole the breath from their lungs.
Beneath their sandals lay an endless expanse of vibrant, lush green grass swaying in a gentle, unseen breeze. In the distance, majestic mountain ranges rose and fell against the horizon, while wide, surging rivers carved through the pristine valleys.
Naruto let out an exaggerated, ear-piercing whoop of absolute astonishment. He jumped up and down, kicking up clumps of dirt before sprinting out into the open plains like a wild animal released from a cage.
Hinata remained quietly by Akira's side. The veins around her temples bulged slightly as she activated her Byakugan. Her white eyes trembled as they swept across the vast landscape. She was deeply shocked, but her aristocratic upbringing kept her rooted in place, maintaining her composure far better than her blonde teammate.
Akira paid no mind to the overly excited Uzumaki. Instead, he closed his eyes, his consciousness expanding outward, quietly sensing the subtle shifts within the entirety of his Heavenly Might space.
A pure, unfathomably vast wave of life energy naturally emanated from the two children, bleeding into the very soil and air of the dimension. It was especially potent from Naruto. Or rather, from the Nine-Tails sealed within him.
The boy was a walking, breathing super-reactor. His mere presence acted as a constant, passive nourishment for this nascent world.
Akira opened his eyes, a cold calculation flashing in his dark irises. The speed of the spatial expansion was accelerating at an unmatched rate. Previously, he had relied on the chakra and life force brutally extracted from the hundred-plus prisoners he kept chained in the dimension's core. That method yielded an agonizingly slow expansion rate, measured merely in centimeters per day.
But now... Akira ran the numbers through his mind with ruthless precision.
'If Naruto and Hinata were to live here long-term...''Just the passive ambient energy they provide would push the boundaries of this entire space outward by thirty to forty meters a day.'This figure was hundreds of times greater than his previous harvest.'The power of the Nine-Tails truly is an unmatched treasure.'
Even without putting the beast into a state of absolute suppression and forced extraction, the Nine-Tails' immense chakra connected gently with the foundational laws of the space. It was far from the theoretical peak of what Akira could rip from the beast, but even this passive trickle was staggering.
It was like finding an infinite, overflowing wellspring for an infant world crying out for nourishment.
Akira's gaze drifted toward the distant speck of orange rolling through the tall grass. A clear, decisive thought formed in his mind.
'This kid's combat strength and chakra reserves have long surpassed the standard of a Jonin.''Leaving him in the Ninja Academy to play ninja games with those sheltered brats is a complete waste of time. More, it is a waste of his immense energy.''It is time for him to graduate early.'
The blueprint of his plan snapped into place. He would pull strings to have Naruto graduate immediately, then relocate the boy directly into the Heavenly Might space. He would live here. He would cultivate here.
This arrangement would allow Naruto's strength to skyrocket in an absolutely secure environment, completely hidden from the prying eyes of the village elders. Simultaneously, the boy's overflowing energy would feed the Heavenly Might space to its maximum potential.
Two birds with one stone.
Panting heavily, Naruto finally ran back, his face flushed with exertion. He plopped down onto the soft grass right at Akira's feet.
"Teacher! Where exactly is this place? It's amazing!"
"This is my world," Akira replied, looking down at the boy.
Naruto and Hinata both froze, their young minds struggling to process the weight of that statement.
Akira slowly raised his right hand. He extended his fingers toward a distant, towering mountain peak. He gently closed his fist.
Under the horrified, unblinking gazes of his two students, the earth groaned. An invisible, god-like force gripped the massive mountain. The peak was uprooted from the bedrock, slowly ascending into the sky, casting a massive shadow over the plains. With a flick of Akira's wrist, the floating mountain drifted miles away and was set down gently beside a rushing river, the impact completely muffled by his absolute control over the domain.
"Here, I am the creator."
He let his hand drop, his tone shifting back to a grounded, practical cadence. "But... creation also has its rules and limitations. I cannot conjure living creatures or organic sustenance out of thin air."
"In other words, to survive in this place, you must hunt and forage for your own food, or bring supplies in from the outside."
Naruto nodded slowly. He only half-understood the metaphysical rules, but his street-smart instincts grasped the core requirement. "Oh... so, this is like a super large wilderness survival training ground, right? I get it!"
"You can think of it that way," Akira nodded, a faint trace of approval in his eyes.
Deep within the seal on Naruto's stomach, a violent, booming voice suddenly erupted.
"Brat! This... what exactly is this place?!"
It was Kurama.
At that exact moment, the massive Nine-Tails was sprawled flat against the flooded floor of the sealing space. The giant fox's face was twisted in an expression of undisguised, primal horror.
This was a real world.
A complete, independent dimension entirely severed from the Ninja World. And it was a world that Uchiha Akira controlled with absolute, unquestionable authority.
'Kurama?'Naruto called out in his mind, tilting his head in confusion.'What's wrong with you? You're so jumpy today.'
"Shut up! You ignorant brat!" Kurama roared, its massive claws gouging into the watery floor. "You don't understand what this means at all!"
Hearing the beast's frantic roar through his connection to the space, the corners of Akira's lips curved upward by a fraction of an inch.
His dark gaze pierced straight through Naruto's physical body, bypassing the seal, and descended directly into the damp, gloomy sealing space. His eyes met the slitted, blood-red pupils of the giant fox.
"Kurama."
Akira's voice did not come from Naruto's ears. It echoed directly within the deepest recesses of the boy's consciousness, ringing like a death knell in Kurama's ears.
"Be quiet."
Instantly, an invisible, crushing weight slammed down upon the Nine-Tails. Kurama was pressed firmly into the flooded floor by an irresistible, supreme will. The water splashed outward as the beast's massive body was pinned flat, utterly unable to twitch a single muscle.
It was the gravitational pressure of an entire world.
In this dimension, Uchiha Akira's will was the law of the heavens.
"You... you..." Kurama ground its massive teeth, its voice trembling with utter horror.
This human could actually project his will directly into the sealing space!
"For Naruto's sake, I will not chain you to the core of this space and forcibly drain your power dry, as I did with those prisoners," Akira's cold voice reverberated through the iron bars of the cage. "So, I advise you to behave."
Silence fell over the cage.
After a long, agonizing minute, that terrifying, world-crushing pressure slowly dissipated.
Kurama lay limp on the ground, its massive chest heaving as it panted heavily. The giant fox stared up at the ceiling of the sealing space, its gaze filled with deep, lingering apprehension and... pure fear.
"Alright."
Akira withdrew his mental projection. His focus returned to the physical world, his eyes settling back on Naruto and Hinata.
"That is all for today. You two can take some time to get a feel for the environment here first."
"In the future, a significant portion of your training will take place in this space."
"Yes, Teacher!" Naruto and Hinata responded in perfect unison, their voices ringing out across the quiet plains.
Akira nodded, his mind already moving to the next step of his grand design.
'Naruto... this mobile super-reactor...''I must arrange for his early graduation as soon as possible.'
With a final swipe of his hand, Akira tore open another spatial rift, leading his two young disciples out of the Heavenly Might space and back into the quiet training ground of the Uchiha mansion.
