Chapter 721 - Artificial Angel, Nymph, Astraea!

Chapter 721: Artificial Angel, Nymph, Astraea!

"Ren... y-you brute... absolute... beast..."

Iwanaga Kotoko lay on her back, her petite frame sunken deep into the disheveled sheets. She was utterly exhausted, her chest heaving violently as she tried to capture enough oxygen to keep her consciousness afloat.

She rubbed her slightly bulging belly with one hand, her face flushed a deep, chaotic crimson. Her mind was a mess of pleasure and complaint.

Her left leg—or rather, the stump where her prosthetic usually attached—protested by twitching spasmodically. It thumped rhythmically against the strong, steel-like thigh beneath it, a futile attempt to signal surrender.

"Who told you to be stubborn from beginning to end?"

Ren's voice was calm, a stark contrast to the chaotic atmosphere of the room. He didn't stop. His movements were rhythmic, powerful, and relentless, like a high-precision piston engine that knew no fatigue.

"Who... who was stubborn?!"

Kotoko's eyes widened. Her pride as the Goddess of Wisdom attempted to flare up. She opened her mouth to retort, to unleash a barrage of witty logic and sarcasm.

But then, the sensation intensified. A wave of electric pleasure scrambled her neural pathways. She realized something was wrong—she was in no position to argue.

"I... I was wrong!" she quickly shouted, her voice cracking into a high-pitched squeal. "I surrender! The Goddess of Wisdom admits defeat!"

"Hehe."

Ren chuckled, the sound vibrating against her chest. Unfortunately for the petite detective, Ren genuinely wanted Iwanaga Kotoko to learn a lesson about biting off more than she could chew.

He immediately shifted gears. The slow rhythm vanished, replaced by the terrifying speed of the "sewing machine."

Bam! Bam! Bam!

"Ahhh! I was really wrong... I can't... my logic is crumbling...!"

"No, you weren't wrong. You performed very well, Kotoko. So, I'm giving you a reward."

Ren's eyes glowed with a soft golden light.

Amidst the sensory overload, Iwanaga Kotoko didn't notice the miraculous phenomenon occurring at her lower half. Particles of light were gathering around her severed limb, weaving bone, muscle, and skin out of thin air.

"Huh?"

Ren suddenly pulled back. Before she could process the loss of contact, he tossed her lightly into the air.

"Wow!!!"

Startled, Kotoko flailed in mid-air. Her instincts kicked in, and she prepared to land awkwardly, expecting to lose her balance due to her missing limb. She reached out to prop herself up with both hands.

Thud.

She landed on the bed. But she didn't fall over.

She stood. Perfectly balanced.

"!!!?"

A strange sensation traveled up her nervous system. It wasn't the cold, hard feedback of her prosthetic. It was warm. It was soft. It was flesh.

As if discovering a ghost, she suddenly snapped her head down.

"My... my leg!"

She stared in disbelief. Where there used to be emptiness, a perfectly formed, fair-skinned left leg now stood. Her toes wiggled against the sheets, obeying her mental command instantly. The scar tissue was gone. The phantom pain was gone.

"This is your reward and a surprise," Ren said, leaning back against the headboard, displaying his own impressive state without shame. "So, you have to persevere a little longer."

"Eh?!"

Kotoko's touched emotion instantly vanished, replaced by terror at the realization that he wasn't done yet.

Meanwhile, high above in the sky.

Two figures descended rapidly from the cloud layer, leaving faint trails of blue light in their wake.

One was a petite girl with blue twin-tails and transparent, butterfly-like wings—Nymph, the Type $\beta$ Electronic Warfare Angel.

The other was a curvaceous blonde with large white wings, wielding a photon sword and shield—Astraea, the Type $\Delta$ Close Combat Angel.

"Below is the human city," Nymph announced, her radar scanning the area. "Let's go down. The signature is strong."

"Roger that!" Astraea shouted energetically.

However, the next second.

Zap.

The world scene changed instantly. The wind, the clouds, and the city view vanished.

In just a blink of an eye, space warped around them.

The two Artificial Angels appeared in a completely unfamiliar, dimly lit room. The air was thick, heavy with a scent they couldn't identify—a mix of musk, sweat, and pheromones.

"Where is this?"

Nymph looked confused, her internal GPS spinning wildly. "Data error? Teleportation?"

Astraea, on the other hand, relied on instinct. Sensing a presence, she immediately pulled out her photon sword, Chrysaor, and her shield, Aegis L.

"Are there enemies?!" she yelled, assuming a combat stance. "Don't worry, Nymph! I'll cut them down!"

"No enemies... but your Master is here."

A deep, magnetic voice echoed from the front.

Ren, leaning comfortably on the sofa—which was actually the edge of a large bed—stretched out his hands.

From the void, two ethereal iron chains materialized. They extended from the heavy iron collars locked around the Angels' necks, connecting directly to Ren's hands.

That's right.

He had sensed them the moment the two appeared in this world's atmosphere. He had forcibly summoned them to his location.

He just hadn't expected them to arrive right in the middle of...

Crack!

Ren exerted a slight force.

With a sound like shattering glass, the absolute chains of the Synapse—the symbol of their slavery and connection—shattered completely. The iron links dissolved into particles of light.

"!!!"

The reaction was instantaneous and heartbreaking.

The two were shocked to have found their Master a second ago. The next second, they were terrified that their connection with their Master had been severed.

To an Angel of the Synapse, a broken chain didn't mean freedom. It meant being discarded. It meant they were junk.

"Ah..."

Nymph's knees gave out. She slumped to the floor, her twin-tails drooping.

Tears welled up in her emerald eyes, and she trembled violently. "Master... are you... are you abandoning us? Is Nymph... garbage?"

"Abandoning..."

Astraea clutched the handle of Chrysaor so tightly her knuckles turned white. Her large red eyes filled with panic.

She asked unwillingly, her voice choking up: "Why? When we finally found Master... why are you abandoning us?! I can fight! I'm strong!"

The two behaved like abandoned puppies kicked out into the rain. It was truly pitiful to see.

However, Ren smiled gently.

"Haha, you misunderstood my meaning."

"Misunderstood?" The two looked at him in confusion, tears still streaming down their faces.

He waved a hand.

"Wow!"

Space warped again.

The next second, they were transferred directly to Ren's side on the bed. One on his left, one on his right. Ren's strong arms wrapped around their waists, pulling them close.

He explained softly, "I think our relationship doesn't need to be bound by any cold iron chains."

"As long as you want, you can always stay by my side. Just like Icarus."

"Icarus-senpai!"

Nymph blinked her eyes, wiping away a tear. "She... she really is with Master?"

Astraea, on the other hand, tilted her head, her processing speed lagging behind. She asked with hesitation: "Can we... can we still be with Master without proof of connection? Without the chain?"

"Of course."

Ren smirked, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "For example... look at her. She has no chain, yet she is very connected to me."

Ren gestured downwards with his chin.

The two Angels followed his gaze.

There, kneeling between Ren's legs, was the moaning Iwanaga Kotoko. She had paused for a moment during the interruption but was now looking up.

The three looked at each other.

[Analyzing...] Nymph's HUD flashed rapidly. [Target: Human Female. State: Unclothed. Activity: Reproduction/Mating. Threat Level: Zero.]

The next second.

"Eh?!!!"

A high-pitched, steam-whistle shout burst out simultaneously from Nymph and Astraea.

"W-W-What is this?!" Nymph shrieked.

The two rapidly heated up. Their skin turned a vibrant pink, and steam practically erupted from their ears.

It was like an overloaded power reactor about to explode.

Astraea's processing unit couldn't handle the visual input. Her eyes rolled back.

"Too... much... logic... error..."

Thud.

Astraea fainted directly from the strain, face-planting onto the mattress.

Nymph, having slightly better processing power, didn't faint. She covered her face with one hand, but her big eyes stared intently through the gaps in her fingers at the large... weapon... standing before them.

Her other hand pointed at the kneeling Iwanaga Kotoko.

"What... what is she doing?! Is she eating it?!"

Iwanaga Kotoko's small, unmatched eyes were filled with endless resentment. She wiped the corner of her mouth.

"You... you never told me there were other people! And Angels at that!"

Ren twitched the corner of his mouth, shrugging. "I'm not saying there are now, am I? They are just observing. Continue, Kotoko. Just a little more."

"..."

Alright.

Iwanaga Kotoko realized she had no choice. Logic dictated that finishing quickly was the only escape. She lowered her head again.

Slurp.

Nymph watched the entire process, her wings fluttering nervously behind her.

After a while, the room was filled with a low groan, followed by Kotoko collapsing, completely full and defeated.

Ren calmed his breathing and turned to the small, blue-haired Angel.

"This way, you can be with me forever. Are you willing, Nymph?"

"Huh?"

Nymph was startled, shrinking back slightly. "Me? Do... do I have to do that too?"

"It depends on my mood. You can come to me when you need me, and I'll come to you when I need you..."

He said it so casually, as if talking about the weather.

Nymph looked down, playing with her fingers. She mumbled shyly, "I... I don't need it! I'm an Artificial Angel! We don't have such functions!"

As she spoke, a hint of loss flashed in her eyes.

"We... are not human. We are weapons."

"Of course, I know you are Artificial Angels."

Ren smiled, running a hand through her blue hair.

"Icarus is a strategic all-purpose Angel (Type $\alpha$). Nymph, you are an electronic warfare all-purpose Angel (Type $\beta$). And Astraea is a close-combat Artificial Angel (Type $\Delta$)."

"But so what?"

He leaned in close to Nymph's ear, his hot breath making her shiver.

"Icarus and I have already done this. Angels can feel pleasure too."

"Mmm!"

Nymph's eyes widened. Before she could process the data, Ren captured her lips.

It wasn't a soft peck. It was deep, demanding, and possessive.

"Mmph...!"

Nymph couldn't react at all. Her electronic brain was screaming Error! Error! but her body... felt so warm.

It felt so, so happy.

Completely inexperienced, she could only clumsily respond to Ren by instinct, her small hands clutching his shoulders.

However, before she could fully experience the kiss, she was suddenly yanked backward.

"I also want to be with Master forever!!!"

It was Astraea.

The "fainted" idiot had rebooted the moment she sensed Nymph getting ahead.

She forcefully pulled Nymph away, throwing the smaller Angel onto the pillows. Then, with the ferocity of a hungry shark, she hugged Ren and started frantically gnawing on his face.

"Muah! Muah! Master is mine!"

"???"

Nymph was dumbfounded, lying on her back. "You... you idiot! Astraea!"

She was about to move and reclaim her spot.

Poke.

She felt someone poke the transparent, phosphorescent light wings on her back.

Iwanaga Kotoko, who had put on a loose shirt, was inspecting her.

"Is this some kind of high-tech?" Kotoko asked, her curiosity as a scientist/yokai expert piqued. "Holographic projection? Hard light?"

Nymph was very displeased with this human woman who was so close to her Master. She bristled, her wings flaring brighter.

She said disdainfully, "Hmph! Lowly human. These are Artificial Angel wings! Variable geometry stealth wings!"

"Wings? I have them too! Look, look!"

Whoosh!

Astraea, hearing the keyword "wings," stopped kissing Ren for a second.

A pair of massive, feathery white mechanical wings unfolded behind her, knocking over a bedside lamp.

Her face was flushed, drool at the corner of her mouth, as she asked, "Ma-Master! Do you like them? Are mine bigger than Nymph's?"

"..."

Nymph was utterly dumbfounded.

Astraea!

Are you deliberately trying to be stronger than me in front of Master?!

And why are you comparing wing size when you should be comparing bust size?! Wait, don't compare that!

"What exactly do you mean by doing this!!!" Nymph screamed, diving at Astraea.
