Chapter 707: Alaya and Gaia are Fighting Over Ren's… Divinity!
"..."
Ria, the blackened King of Knights, stared blankly at Ren. The snow-covered courtyard of the Einzbern castle seemed to fade into the background.
"You said... we are all your wives?"
Ren, hearing this, smirked. He reached out and played with her pale, thin lips, his thumb brushing against the softness.
"Aren't you?" he asked, his voice low and teasing.
"But they..." Ria stammered, feeling the multiple consciousnesses shifting within her spirit origin. "They are different. They have different memories, different paths..."
"They are all you," Ren interrupted gently. "Different facets of the same diamond. And I intend to collect every single facet."
"And..."
His hand moved down from her lips, caressing her slender neck, tracing the line of her collarbone, and continued downwards, his fingers slipping beneath the collar of her dress.
"!!!"
Ria's body trembled violently. Her golden eyes, usually sharp and tyrannical, instantly filled with a misty haze of pleasure and submission.
Ren chuckled, leaning close to her ear. "See? You alone can't satisfy me, my greedy little dragon. Wouldn't it be better to have more of you? To share the burden of my love?"
"Mmm!"
Ria's cheeks were flushed a deep crimson. Her legs felt weak. She hugged his neck tightly to support herself, burying her face in his shoulder.
"I... I know," she whispered shyly, her voice barely audible over the wind. "There... there are still others inside me who want to meet you."
"Others?"
Ren smiled, satisfied. Then, his gaze shifted to the side, landing on a small, trembling figure kneeling in the snow.
It was Alaya, the manifestation of the Collective Unconscious of Mankind.
"Eek!!!"
Alaya felt his gaze like a physical weight. She quickly lowered her head until her forehead touched the freezing ground.
"I can't see! I can't see! I can't see..." she chanted frantically. "No, I'm not human! I don't have human rights! Don't look at me!"
"Pfft."
Ren was amused by her pitiful appearance. This was the entity that usually ruthlessly pruned timelines and enslaved Guardians?
"Look up."
The command was absolute.
"Oh, oh."
Alaya obediently lifted her head. Her large, hollow eyes were filled with terror.
Ren walked over to her. The snow crunched softly under his boots. He squatted down until he was eye-level with the petite embodiment of humanity.
He stared at Alaya's face for a while—a face devoid of individuality yet containing the traces of all mankind.
"Why are you so afraid of me?" he asked curiously.
"Uh..."
Alaya awkwardly lowered her gaze again, fidgeting with the hem of her dress.
She mumbled, "It... it's Gaia. She... she said you would make me pregnant. She said you are a cosmic inseminator! It's very scary! I'm a conceptual entity, I don't know how to give birth!"
"..."
Ren twitching his lips. What kind of slander was this?
"Alaya! You traitor!!!"
Suddenly, another loli-type figure jumped out from the void. She radiated the aura of the planet itself—green, vibrant, and ancient.
It was Gaia, the Will of the Planet.
She immediately started scolding Alaya for her treacherous behavior, pointing a trembling finger at her sister.
"You sold me out! You promised we would face the invader together!"
Originally, she thought she could hide in the planet's core. But now, seeing Alaya crumble so easily, she knew she was exposed.
"Hmm?"
Ren's gaze swept over to the new arrival.
Gaia's hairs stood on end. The pressure she felt wasn't magical; it was hierarchical. It was the presence of a being far higher on the food chain than a mere planet.
"I'm sorry!"
Thud.
Gaia dropped to her knees instantly, executing a perfect dogeza next to Alaya. Unlike Alaya, who wore simple robes, Gaia was completely nude, her body formed from the raw elements of nature—vines, soil, and starlight.
Ren looked at these two fellows—the supreme administrators of Earth—kneeling before him like naughty children.
He felt that he had to teach them a lesson. A thorough one.
He stood up and turned to Ria.
"Ria, I'll send you back to the girls first. These two fellows need to be... educated."
Ria looked at the two trembling entities, then at Ren's dark smile. She blushed, understanding the implication.
"Oh... okay. Be gentle... or not."
...
Meanwhile, outside the castle entrance.
"Sister Ria! Where's Brother Ren?"
Sakura Matou (now freed from the worms) and Illyasviel von Einzbern ran over through the snow, wrapped in thick winter coats.
They saw Ria standing alone, her expression complex.
"He is... busy," Ria said.
She was about to explain further when her body suddenly glowed.
Flash!
Figures emerged from within her body, separating like a prism splitting light. One after another, different versions of the King of Knights materialized in the snow.
"Wow... What beautiful snow!"
A young girl in white armor, looking innocent and full of hope, spun around with a bright smile. This was Artoria Lily.
"So this is the real world? It feels... solid."
A tall, majestic woman in silver armor, radiating the aura of a goddess, reached out to catch the scattered snowflakes. Her figure was noticeably more voluptuous than the original. This was Lancer Artoria, wielder of Rhongomyniad.
"It's cold. I want a burger."
A pale-skinned tyrant in a black gothic dress crossed her arms, looking unimpressed. This was Saber Alter.
"Eh eh eh?"
Sakura and Illya exclaimed in unison, their eyes popping out.
"So... so many Sister Rias!!"
The original Ria's face darkened.
"Can't you all say hello when you come out? Where are your manners?"
Black Saber (Alter) glanced at her and scoffed coldly. "We are all the King's queens. Why should we greet you? You are just the one who got to him first."
"You!"
Ria glared at her corrupted self. Sparks flew between them.
"Ah ah ah! Everyone is the King's queen! Don't quarrel! Peace! Peace!"
A figure in a tracksuit and a cap, holding a mysterious sword, hastily tried to mediate. This was Mysterious Heroine X.
"We should... we should consider my husband Ren's feelings! He wouldn't want us fighting!"
"Hmm??"
But these words immediately drew everyone's gaze. The temperature dropped ten degrees.
"When did Ren become your husband? He's ours."
"???"
Sakura and Illya were bewildered, watching the army of Artorias arguing over ownership of their big brother.
...
Back in the snowy void created by Ren's barrier.
Who knows how much time had passed.
Gaia and Alaya lay sprawled on the ground, their bodies twitching slightly. Their eyes were rolled back, tongues lolling out in a decidedly un-divine manner.
Only one thought echoed in their overloaded minds.
It's over! I'm broken! I'm definitely going to get pregnant with a universe!
"Tsk. For the two supreme Counter Forces of Earth, I didn't expect you to be so... useless."
Ren adjusted his clothes, looking down at them with a disappointed expression. He clicked his tongue.
"Weak. Too weak. Is this the best the planet has to offer?"
"S-Sorry!" Alaya sobbed, crawling to his feet. "Sorry for not being able to let Lord Ren enjoy himself fully! Please punish me!"
"Forget it, forget it. From now on, both of you belong to me. You are my property."
"Yes!!!"
They answered in unison, relieved that they weren't being erased.
"I still have something to do right now. You two... clean yourselves up."
"Yes!!!"
The two quickly scrambled up, though their legs were shaking.
Ren began to issue commands. He needed to secure his assets before leaving this timeline.
"Alaya. Gaia."
"Here!"
"Cut Sakura, Sera, Illya, Leysritt, and Irisviel completely out of this world's causal flow. From now on, their uniqueness must be undeniable. They exist only for me."
"Understood!"
After thinking for a moment, he added, "Also, cut out Sakura's elder sister, Rin Tohsaka. I might need a tsundere later."
"And then... there is your Throne of Heroes, Alaya."
Ren smiled, a predatory glint in his eyes.
"Alaya, I'm going to cut out all the female Heroic Spirits from your Throne of Heroes. Do you have any objections?"
"!!!"
Alaya's eyes widened to the size of saucers.
That was her entire arsenal! Her collection!
But she opened her mouth... and closed it. She looked at Ren's expectant gaze.
She shook her head violently.
"No! None at all! Take them! Take them all!"
How could she dare to have any objections? She had tasted his power. She belonged to him now. What were a few thousand heroic souls compared to the wrath of this God?
"Good girl."
Ren nodded. "Don't worry, I'm just pulling out a harem. I'll give you benefits too."
He was very covetous of the beauty stored on this Throne.
The holy saint, Jeanne d'Arc. The fluffy fox wife, Tamamo-no-Mae. The sexy teacher, Scáthach. The snake goddess, Medusa. The motherly berserker, Minamoto no Raikou. The emperor of roses, Nero Claudius.
And so on.
There were truly too many to count. Having a different one each day would take years to cycle through. It would be a paradise.
Since he came to this world, he naturally had to take them all with him. He would place them into the Infinite Tree, creating a dedicated 'World of Heroic Spirits' where they could live in peace (and serve him).
To carve out such a large chunk of history and legend... it would essentially shatter the Moonlit World's logic.
For this massive sacrifice, Ren decided to compensate them.
"Open your mouths."
"Eh?"
"Ugh!!!"
Alaya suddenly felt a powerful force—thick, warm, and golden—enter her mouth.
It wasn't just physical matter. It was raw Concept. It was the Authority of the Lord of Myriad Worlds.
Gulp.
So strong!!!
Alaya felt her spirit origin expanding. The limitations of being the "Will of Humanity on Earth" shattered. She felt her consciousness expanding to the moon, the solar system, the galaxy!
She realized what this was. This was evolution.
So she began to suck wildly, desperate not to waste a single drop of this divine nectar.
"???"
Gaia, standing beside her, was stunned by this sight.
What's going on?
Weren't you crying and scared just now? Why do you look so... euphoric?
Suddenly, Gaia noticed something was wrong.
As Alaya swallowed, her power spiked exponentially. Her presence was becoming cosmic.
Gaia thought of a possibility. Is that... pure Divinity? Is that the Origin of Creation?!
She immediately became enraged.
"You traitor! How could you try to monopolize such a good thing?!"
"Get out of my way!!!"
Gaia lifted her bare foot and kicked Alaya in the face, sending the Will of Humanity tumbling into a snowbank.
"Mine!"
Gaia lunged forward. As a drop of the golden liquid splashed onto her skin, she felt forests blooming in her mind. Oceans being born. It was real.
There was indeed an incredibly powerful force contained within Ren's essence.
With shining, greedy eyes, she blocked the source with her mouth, latching on like a starving beast.
"Damn you, Gaia! Get up! Let me do it! It's my turn!"
Alaya scrambled back, furious. "You have the whole planet! I only have humans! Give me the juice!"
But as she approached, she found Gaia pulling back, looking utterly bewildered and disappointed.
"Why is it gone?" Gaia whined, licking her lips.
The two of them simultaneously looked up at Ren with puppy-dog eyes.
Their pitiful, hungry expressions made Ren laugh and cry at the same time.
"Why is it gone? Don't you understand?"
Ren zipped up his pants, smirking down at the two supreme beings.
"There's nothing if you don't work for it. That was just a sample. If you want more..."
He leaned in, his voice dark and promising.
"...you have to work hard. Bring me the Throne. Bring me the World."
"!!!"
The two suddenly understood. The path to evolution was open, but they had to earn it.
Alaya and Gaia exchanged glances. A spark of rivalry ignited between them.
Alaya reacted faster. She immediately sat down in a seiza position, bowing her head.
"I will prepare the data transfer of the Throne immediately, Master!"
"Damn you, traitor! I'll prepare the ley lines!"
Gaia was exasperated. She realized she was behind in the race for Ren's favor.
But she stayed close to his leg, hoping to catch any stray drops of power, like a loyal pet waiting for scraps from the master's table.
