Cassien smiled slightly, then suddenly turned panicked. A mocking kind of panic.
"They were threatening to hit me simply because their women took a liking to me… I feel hurt," Cassien declared.
"Huh…?!"
"Stop it." She spoke to her own classmates. "We must represent Class 1A properly, given our family status. We mustn't disgrace where we came from. Stop this foolishness at once."
Each of them lowered their heads and began walking away.
One of the women being dragged away by her self-proclaimed boyfriend looked back at Cassien one last time, blushing.
Cassien stared directly into her gaze and winked.
It's safe to say she nearly fainted.
