His gaze flicked toward the silver watch resting against his wrist for what had to be the sixth time in ten minutes, and the irritation pressing beneath his skin sharpened another degree. One hour. An entire hour sitting inside a boardroom waiting for a man who had requested this meeting himself.
Vael hated waiting. Especially when it involved people who clearly thought they could waste his time.
The massive glass walls of the boardroom overlooked the city below. Across the table sat executives from Strathmore Holdings—his company's biggest rival in the Architectural sector.
