Vael reached her first, his arms slicing through the water like blades. "Don't touch her!" He snarled at the stranger, who had grabbed her other side.
"I'm just helping, you psycho!"
"I said don't fucking touch her!" He growled.
Vessara gasped softly as Vael lifted her against him, his hands gripping her waist carefully now. Her face had gone pale. The stranger still tried to assist from the side as they moved her to the edge of the pool.
Vael shoved the man hard again once they were out of the pool. "Back off!"
The stranger staggered backward. His hand reached to his busted lips, and he flinched in pain.
Apollo appeared at that moment, carrying a bag with swimwear, before stopping short at the chaos. His eyes widened at the scene.
Vael didn't even look at him. His gaze was on Vessara, checking if she was fine. "Get this bastard out. And file a report with the hotel. Now." He barked out the order without tearing his gaze away from Vessara.
