Chapter 101: Yet Another New World
Despite being the wielder of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, Enel suffered from a severe lack of perspective because he was born in the sky and knew nothing of the vast world below. When he saw Yumesaki's group approaching, he felt he had the absolute upper hand.
He was a god, after all. How could he possibly lose to a bunch of low-born parvenus from who-knows-where?
At the same time, seeing the arrogant Enel, Yumesaki's thoughts mirrored his.
A fool who has never seen the world—how could he possibly be a match for them?
The upper hand was definitely on his side.
Having finally escaped Onigashima and tasted true freedom, Yamato didn't hesitate for a second when she saw Enel's haughty attitude. She charged immediately.
"Insolent fool!"
Enel's eyes widened as he unleashed a bolt of lightning. But in the next heartbeat, Yamato blurred past the strike, her gaze sharpening with lethal intent.
Boom!
A violent, terrifying burst of Conqueror's Haki erupted from Yamato's body, sweeping outward like a landslide or a crashing tsunami.
Before arriving, she had already heard from Yumesaki that their opponent this time was a user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.
This had put Yamato on high alert. The Rumble-Rumble Fruit wasn't just any Logia; it was a Logia that controlled lightning itself.
It was arguably one of the most iconic and powerful Devil Fruits in existence.
As long as someone wasn't mentally incapacitated, anyone who ate that fruit was guaranteed to become a powerhouse.
Facing a powerhouse, Yamato naturally didn't dare to hold back. Thus, the moment Enel attacked, she unleashed her Conqueror's Haki without reservation.
To a true warrior, clashing with Conqueror's Haki upon meeting was like a greeting—the proper etiquette for a showdown between the strong.
What Yamato didn't expect, however, was that after she released her Haki, Enel didn't counter it. Instead, he froze, his reaction time slowing by a significant margin.
In that opening, Yamato was already upon him. Conqueror's Haki coated the Kanabo in her hands as she swung it with devastating force.
Raimei Hakke!
Bang!
The sound of the impact was deafening. Enel was sent flying in an instant, his body slamming into the temple wall like a cannonball, punching a massive hole right through the masonry.
He soared out of the temple and hit the ground outside with a dull thud.
Then, he went limp, completely unconscious.
Yamato blinked. "Huh... what's with this guy?"
Wasn't he a Rumble-Rumble Fruit user? He was pathetic.
"There is a distinct possibility that he is just a glass cannon," Yumesaki said calmly. "Aside from a natural talent for Observation Haki—which they call Mantra here—this guy can't use Haki at all. He doesn't even know what it is."
Yamato stared at him. "??? What do you mean? He doesn't know Haki? How is that possible? Isn't Haki something everyone knows?"
Yumesaki was at a loss for words.
As expected, it's hard for the gifted to empathize with the commoners. Faced with Yamato's genuine confusion, Yumesaki replied, "There is a very high probability that most people in this world have no idea Haki even exists."
"Is that so?" Yamato let out a few awkward chuckles.
Afterward, Yumesaki slapped a pair of Sea Prism Stone handcuffs on Enel to keep him from causing any trouble once he woke up.
Then, he found it. The Golden Ship, the Ark Maxim.
The ship was colossal, far exceeding Yumesaki's imagination, and the sheer amount of gold used in its construction was staggering.
If Nami, with her legendary obsession for treasure, saw this, she'd probably die of pure joy.
Fortunately, he hadn't brought her along; otherwise, no one would have been able to get this ship away from her.
Once Yumesaki secured the vessel, he didn't immediately start stripping the gold to send back to Egghead.
Instead, he summoned Vegapunk, Tobirama, Orochimaru, and the others to come and inspect the Ark Maxim.
Why the tour?
Because the Ark Maxim was the only ship in the One Piece world capable of true flight.
It was an engineering marvel.
Most ships in this world were limited to the sea. The most impressive ones could dive, like the Heart Pirates' submarine, the Polar Tang.
That was one of the few purpose-built submersibles in existence.
Of course, if you coated a ship, it could go to the seafloor, but ships that could sail the sky were incredibly rare.
For now, the Ark Maxim was the only one of its kind.
In the One Piece cover stories, Enel—after losing to Luffy—actually used this ship to fly out of the atmosphere and reach the moon.
This proved that the vessel wasn't just a flyer; it was a god-tier spacecraft capable of interplanetary travel.
It was extraordinary.
Therefore, before dismantling the gold for cash, Yumesaki dragged Vegapunk and the researchers out of their labs to witness the Ark Maxim.
"What a magnificent vessel."
After his inspection, Vegapunk couldn't help but praise it. "The technology used here exceeds my expectations. I suspect some of its components are derived from Uranus, one of the Ancient Weapons."
"You think so?" Yumesaki was genuinely surprised.
The Three Ancient Weapons of the One Piece world: Pluton was a warship, and Poseidon was a Mermaid Princess who could command Sea Kings (currently Princess Shirahoshi).
Only Uranus had remained a complete mystery.
However, in the original story, after Vegapunk created the Mother Flame, the shadow ruler Imu used it to power an unknown weapon that wiped the Lulusia Kingdom off the map in seconds.
Since that attack came from the sky, many fans speculated that the mystery weapon was Uranus.
Now, Vegapunk was suggesting that the Ark Maxim's space-flight tech came from Uranus. Did that mean Uranus was likely a ship too? Or perhaps a massive space station equipped with a super-weapon?
"It's just a hunch," Vegapunk admitted, not wanting to state it as a fact. "Even though I worked for the World Government, many of their deepest secrets were kept hidden from me."
"Even I don't have a clear picture of Uranus. I can only make educated guesses based on fragments of data."
Yumesaki nodded, finding the logic sound.
Soon after, they found the design blueprints inside the Ark Maxim.
Enel had built the ship based on these plans. If he hadn't found them, there was no way a guy with his intellect could have designed a space-capable vessel.
Driven by curiosity, Yumesaki used mental manipulation magic to interrogate Enel. Through a series of questions, he uncovered the truth.
Enel had found the blueprints in his homeland, the Sky Island of Birka.
Along with the blueprints, he had found the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.
Hearing this, the pieces finally clicked for Yumesaki. No wonder the Ark Maxim used lightning to generate power.
It had been designed that way from the start—with the Rumble-Rumble Fruit intended to serve as the engine and power source for the entire ship.
He wondered who could have possibly designed such a thing, only for it to fall into Enel's lap.
Tragically, after Enel ate the fruit, he used its power to destroy his own home, Birka.
As a result, the identity of the Ark Maxim's original creator remained a mystery.
"You really are a piece of work."
Yumesaki looked down at the mind-controlled Enel, debating whether he should just end the bastard right then and there.
Ultimately, he decided against it.
Since Enel was currently the only Logia user they had successfully captured, his research value was immense. Killing him would be a waste of resources.
And so, Enel was hauled off to the laboratory.
Orochimaru, Kabuto, and the others were ecstatic. This was a high-grade experimental subject.
As for the Ark Maxim, Yumesaki began the process of dismantling the gold, allocating the lion's share of the funds to the Egghead research projects.
With this massive influx of capital, the experiments on Egghead Island wouldn't be stalling anytime soon.
However, getting results wasn't instantaneous; it would take time.
Fortunately, Yumesaki wasn't in a rush, and neither was Robin. They still had a few years before the world's predicted end, so they had breathing room.
Now, their priority was to gather allies to stand against the World Government.
Kaido and Big Mom were already under their banner.
Next on the list was Whitebeard.
Winning over Whitebeard wouldn't be difficult. The man was old and ravaged by illness. His greatest concern was the safety of his "sons."
If Yumesaki could heal Whitebeard and restore him to his prime, the old man would naturally join their camp.
His children, out of gratitude, would surely follow suit.
As for how to cure Whitebeard?
Yumesaki already had a plan. Step one: find the captain of the Heart Pirates, the "Surgeon of Death" Trafalgar Law. Then, have Law collaborate with Tsunade. Between the two of them, they should be able to fix Whitebeard's failing body.
Then, he'd pull both Law and Whitebeard into the fold.
Together, they would challenge the World Government.
That was the original plan.
But just as they were about to set things in motion, a small, unexpected event occurred.
The Great Golden Gate deep within Yumesaki's mind shuddered once more after a long period of silence, transmitting a message.
A New World... had been discovered.
In short, Yumesaki could now travel to yet another dimension.
Without hesitation, Yumesaki put his current plans on hold, deciding to scout this new world first.
After all, Whitebeard and Law were in the One Piece world; they weren't going anywhere. It was better to see what this new world offered first—who knew what kind of game-changing assets he might find?
Robin fully supported his decision.
If it turned out to be a world like Dragon Ball or Saint Seiya, that would be incredible.
Thus, Yumesaki gathered Hashirama, Yamato, Smoothie, Robin, and even Serie. He then pushed open the dimensional door leading to the unknown.
Beyond the gate, he didn't find himself in a woman's bedroom this time. Instead, they stood in the heart of a forest.
Deep within the lush greenery, a woman was stumbling along, looking visibly distressed and in great pain.
She wore a hooded cloak of dark blue and purple over a long purple dress. Her hair was a cascading blue, and her eyes were the color of the deep sky.
More importantly, she had pointed ears that clearly marked her as non-human, with a distinct braid on the left side of her head and dark purple lipstick.

Can anyone guess who this woman is?
