Zenobius finally loosened his grip.
Damon dropped heavily onto the ground and coughed violently, fresh blood staining the corner of his lips. The Alpha remained kneeling for a moment while trying to catch his breath, looking more miserable than proud. Around them, the warriors standing near the entrance wisely pretended they weren't watching anything.
Zenobius, however, wasn't paying attention to them.
He was staring at CeCe. The kind of stare that always made her nervous.
