Chapter 22 - Chapter 22 Alchemist Guild

The next morning, as the sun began to gently touch the earth, Qingshan Town was already bustling with activity, a scene of vibrant activity.

Meanwhile, in the Maple Leaf Tower's office hall, Lin Feng was giving final instructions to Yao Le, Snake Nest, Hemon, and other key figures of the tower.

Indeed, after returning from the Monster Mountain Range, Lin Feng had decided to immediately depart for the Gama Imperial Capital. After all, only cultivators of the same level could accelerate progress, and in Qingshan Town, the strongest besides Lin Feng was only Yao Le, a four-star Dou Shi.

This was of little use to Lin Feng; of course, he had only tried it casually, and it hadn't affected his cultivation.

Therefore, Lin Feng immediately decided to leave Qingshan Town for the Gama Imperial Capital.

Perhaps there he would encounter more fortuitous events like the Monkey Wine. He was confident he could obtain it, because as soon as he arrived in the capital, he would immediately seek out the ingredients for refining fourth-grade pills to advance to the fourth-grade alchemist level.

In the small capital city of Jia Ma, a fourth-grade alchemist is already an extremely prestigious figure, respected even by Dou Wang experts.

Let alone such a young fourth-grade alchemist; anyone with a sound mind would show him immense respect.

Therefore, Lin Feng had no worries about his situation in the capital.

  Meanwhile

, in the azure sky, a gigantic griffin soared, sometimes rising high, sometimes swooping down.

Surprisingly, on its back were a man and two women, seemingly standing steadily, unaffected by the strong winds.

Behind them, a small house stood atop the griffin, a sight to behold.

Indeed, this was Lin Feng, Qing Lin, and Little Fairy Doctor. Lin Feng hadn't brought the Maple Leaf Pavilion members with him to the capital, though having someone run errands certainly made things easier.

In front of the griffin, Lin Feng stood with his hands behind his back, looking down upon the vast land.

Looking at the boundless, magical mountain range, a lush and verdant landscape

teeming with life, a surge of heroic spirit welled up

within him. "Since I've been fortunate enough to come to this wondrous world, I, Lin Feng, must witness the pinnacle of existence, making this second chance at life worthwhile, and ensuring the world remembers my name, Lin Feng!" Moreover, glancing at Qing Lin and Little Fairy Doctor nestled in his arms, he thought, "I must always be with those who love me!"

After three sunrises and sunsets, Lin Feng and his companions finally saw a colossal city standing at the edge of the sky, seemingly blocking everything away.

  "Whoosh."

The sound of wings beating against the wind rang out, followed by the griffin beast—the Dazzling Spiral Griffin King—slowly descending.

"Gama Imperial Capital, I, Lin Feng, have arrived!"

Passing through the crowded gate, Lin Feng complained to Qing Lin and Little Fairy Doctor beside him, "I'm going to take the alchemist level badge assessment soon, so I definitely can't go in this way again!"

"Hehehe," Qing Lin chuckled, "Brother Lin Feng is nothing like other powerful figures. They're all unconcerned with formalities, but Lin Feng was so meticulous just now."

"Well, you little brat, you dare tease me now!" Lin Feng, feigning a fierce expression, pinched Qing Lin's cheek. "Do you know you're wrong?"

"Ah, Brother Lin Feng, I was wrong, I was wrong. I won't do it again!" Qing Lin immediately begged for mercy. After Lin Feng released her, she playfully stuck out her tongue and ran off.

Little Fairy Doctor, watching the two bickering, covered her mouth and chuckled.

"Oh!" Just as Lin Feng was about to chase after Qing Lin, he suddenly turned around and pinched Little Fairy Doctor's nose.

Then, Lin Feng quickly ran ahead. Little Fairy Doctor smiled knowingly and followed after them with small steps.

Seeing the three of them laughing and chatting, the several elegant old men nearby sighed with admiration.

"Youth is truly wonderful. Back when I was still a fighter, I had a feud with a powerful master. I was young and arrogant, and clashed with a senior. Although I managed to escape using my superior fighting spirit, thinking about it now, that was my lost youth!" a balding old man lamented.

"Tch, anyone who didn't know better would think your bald patch was blown off by a horse going too fast! Everyone knows how scared you were back then, it was hilarious! Hahahaha!" a toothless old man next to him laughed, ruthlessly exposing his true colors without any mercy.

"You old scoundrel, how dare you laugh at me? You lost your teeth because you harassed a rich man's daughter. She knocked out your front teeth, and if you hadn't knelt down and begged for forgiveness, and if she hadn't been kind-hearted, you old scoundrel would still be here chatting and laughing with me!" the balding old man, unable to contain his anger, revealed his shameful past, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

The two old men were furious, their noses flaring and eyes wide, but then they burst into laughter.

Indeed, at their age, few of their old friends were still alive. Watching the young people pass by each day, occasionally reminiscing about the past and boasting, was perhaps their greatest pleasure.

Chasing and playing, after passing several streets, Lin Feng and his companions finally stopped before a magnificent building.

Looking up, they saw that the massive structure resembled a giant medicine cauldron, its design quite unique and perfectly suited to the tastes of alchemists.

After observing it for a while at the entrance, the three of them stepped towards the guild's gate. Even Lin Feng, an alchemist himself, had never been to the Alchemist's Guild before, so he was a little curious.

"Gentlemen, this is the Alchemist's Guild. Unless you are an alchemist or have a letter of recommendation from an alchemist, you are not allowed to enter," two fully armed men quickly stopped them, perhaps because they were unfamiliar faces. Of course, perhaps because Lin Feng and his companions were still young, their words weren't too harsh, nor did they directly drive them away.

  "Bang!"

Lin Feng sensed their goodwill and didn't make things difficult for them, simply lighting up a ball of beast fire in his palm. "This, is this alright?"

"Real, real fire!? A fourth-grade alchemist!?" Upon seeing this, the two burly men's expressions changed drastically, immediately becoming respectful, while disbelief flashed in their eyes.

It should be known that even in the entire Gama Empire, fourth-grade alchemists were rare, let alone such a young one.

The surrounding crowd erupted in discussion, frequently glancing at the scene with disbelief and utter astonishment.

At this moment, atop the guild, a refined-looking old man asked a maid beside him, "What's happening down below? Why is there such a commotion?"
