Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: Spirit Hall.

Two days later, the academy escort brought him to Spirit Hall.

Mo Chen stood at the entrance with a calm face, but his eyes were sharp.

This was a real threshold. From here on, everything would become more official.

More dangerous.More serious.

Inside Spirit Hall, the atmosphere was different from the academy.

Cold stone.Orderly desks.

Low voices.

Spirit masters moved with authority, and even the air seemed heavier.

The clerk behind the counter glanced at his academy token and then at him.

"What do you need?"

Mo Chen answered clearly.

"I am here for the warrant required to enter the Spirit Hunting Forest."

The clerk looked at him a second time.

"Your martial soul?"

"Broken metal fragment."

"Intent soul power "

"Level three."

The clerk gave a small nod and motioned for him to wait.

Mo Chen stood quietly while others came and went.

Some were older. Some were more confident.

Some carried the easy arrogance of people who had already seen power.

He did not envy them.He only observed.

After a while, the clerk called him forward again.

"You'll need to be assessed."

Mo Chen stepped into the assessment room.

There, a Spirit Hall appraiser examined his certificate, asked a few questions, and checked his body condition and soul power it shows level 10 . Hewas also asked to demonstrate his martial soul.

Mo Chen raised his hand.

The broken fragment appeared above his palm.

Rough.

Incomplete.

Silent.

"Why do you need the warrant now?"

Mo Chen had already prepared the answer.

"My spirit power has stabilized. I want to prepare for my first spirit ring. I do not want to rely only on school arrangements if they limit my options."

The appraiser's expression did not change much, but his eyes became a little more attentive.

This child was not speaking like a child.

He was speaking like someone who understood the stakes.

After a short silence, the appraiser stood up and retrieved a warrant document.

"This is not a hunting guarantee," he said. "It only permits entry into the Spirit Hunting Forest under proper supervision and regulation."

Mo Chen nodded.

"That is enough."

The appraiser handed him the warrant.

"Keep it safe. Without this, you cannot enter."

Mo Chen accepted it with both hands.

"Thank you."

When he stepped out of Spirit Hall, the warrant felt heavier than paper.

It felt like permission.

And responsibility.

The path to his first spirit ring was no longer just a plan in his head.

It was real now.
