[Purple_Amoeba: D*mn! This spearhead is so massive… could it be that there are titans living in the place the host got transported too!?]
[Invincible_Bob: It is possible; after all, you would need a really big monster to use this kind of weapon… Although the host is strong due to some mysterious reason, it would be bad news if he came across a monster that powerful…]
[Paul_the_disaster: Ugh, I don't want to see those ugly creatures… last time a titan appeared it was extremely ugly and it caused the death of the player that holds the longest survival record of 6.5 days!]
[Blue_Dinosaur: I remember that… back then we were all cheering for him because he seemed quite promising… he was dropped in one of the most advantageous places and was able to find food and shelter very quickly with his quick thinking…]
[Laughing_meteor: Yeah, Bruno was an excellent man… sigh, if only that ugly titan hadn't found him… who could have thought that those idiotic-looking creatures were actually quite cunning and good at laying traps just like primitive humans!]
Looking at the comment box, Zephyr decided to be vigilant.
Although he had a strong physique, that was when compared to normal humans; compared to a massive titan that has the ability to shatter a mountain with a single punch, Zephyr is still too weak.
Walking around the massive broken spearhead, Zephyr noticed that there were some carvings still intact on the lower side of the spearhead.
"The being who made this arrow… must be quite a craftsman…"
There were small humanoid images carved on the broken spearhead, and they seemed to be planting trees in a sandy area.
There was a moon shining in the sky brightly above them, and stars were twinkling dazzlingly.
Although due to the engraved image being damaged quite badly, Zephyr was able to understand most of it with his amazing sight and improved mental capabilities.
"Are these people trying to stop the desert from spreading?"
On Earth, quite a few countries are running various programs in which they plant trees in the desert to stop the desertification process and combat sandstorms.
Plants that make deep roots and help in holding down the sand are used in this reforestation process and help create a greener and better Earth for the next generations.
As Zephyr had to write essays on this topic during his time as a student, he was quite familiar with this process and immediately recognized it at a single glance!
He looked around at the massive desert of ash all around him and thought,
"Is it possible that at some point in time… the giant people who made this spearhead planted massive trees in this place…"
"But then the trees got burnt for some reason, and their ashes still cling to this land until now because there is no wind to blow them away?"
Ever since 'Obelisk Aperion' descended on this world, players have been too busy just surviving.
Just basic human needs like food, water, and shelter were already difficult to find; thus, obviously, there was no one who had the free time to investigate the mysteries of this monster-infested world.
"These giant people or titans, likely had a pretty advanced civilization if they are free enough to make artworks like this on even their weapons…"
Exploring new places and mysteries of a bygone past has a thrill of its own, but currently Zephyr does not have enough time to contemplate them.
Shaking his head, Zephyr stopped thinking about these things, as there was no way to find real answers to the forgotten secrets of this place right now.
"There is a hut-shaped carving here in this image… also there's this 'K'-shaped star constellation in the sky near the moon…"
"I might be able to use this carving as a map!"
The star constellation was depicted directly above the 'hut' mark, which means that the constellation was clearly visible right above this settlement of the titans.
If Zephyr is able to find this constellation in the sky, he can see which direction it's in, and he can walk towards that direction to find the settlement of these giant people.
"Although going to this town is likely going to be dangerous… I have no other clue at the moment; at least I will able to find some water if nothing else…"
Wherever there is a settlement of people, there would obviously be some kind of water source nearby, or the settlement won't survive long; this is a simple fact that everyone can understand.
'I will need drinking water sooner or later…'
With his 'perfect physique,' Zephyr had lower water consumption requirements, and he could survive much longer than normal people without water, but there was always a limit to everything.
Even with his insanely powerful talent, he was still just a mortal being that had all the humans' basic needs intact, and although he could control his basic needs to a large extent, it had its limits.
"I don't really have a telescope or something like that at hand but… I will have to do some stargazing it seems…"
"Sigh, if I knew I was going to be picked as a 'player,' I would have learned stargazing and constellation-recognizing skills beforehand..."
Hearing Zephyr's words, the people in the chat section who were also fascinated by the mysteries of this world also acknowledge the need for learning these basic human skills.
[Purple_Amoeba: Man… although I don't think I will be the one to be picked as the player out of billions of people… I think I should start learning about basic survival skills…]
[Invincible_Bob: Various government organizations have been running free survival skill-teaching campaigns in recent years but I always kept avoiding them due to work… I think I should go there someday soon…]
[Paul_the_disaster: Yes… you never know what might happen in life; it's always a good thing to learn various skills… none of the players in the past were properly trained people… if they were, perhaps their survival chances would have increased…]
[Laughing_Meteor: Stargazing is a skill that humans have been using since primitive times… the modern society has dulled our skills but we can always regain them if we put enough effort into it…]
