Chapter 91 - Four Starship Technologies

Unlike before, the other party sent Leah Warren a holographic video conference room. A holographic video conference was similar to the meetings she had held before; one could see the other party's holographic image, allowing for smooth communication even across several galaxies. However, this method of communication incurred extremely expensive communication fees per minute.

But Leah didn't care; the other party was the man who had brought her tens of millions of star coins in wealth with just a few words. Let alone these communication fees, if the other party just sent an address, she probably would have dropped her work and rushed over.

She entered the holographic video conference room.

A masked man was already seated across the round table. From his physique, he was completely unlike the elderly professors or doctors she had expected; he looked very young.

"Are you…?" Leah tentatively asked, his youth making her somewhat doubt his identity.

"The T1 Wolf Louse-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer starship technology has made Miss Leah a lot of money, hasn't it? Miss Leah also has excellent business acumen. You could have priced it higher, but you chose a low price to quickly open up the market and establish Northern Goose's reputation," Zachary Chase began.

Leah hurriedly said, "This is all thanks to you, sir, for being willing to provide us with this starship. Out of gratitude, although we previously signed a buyout contract, we are still willing to pay you 5% of the technology fee for each starship!"

It must be said, Leah truly knew how to do business. What seemed like an extra 5% expenditure for no reason was actually a way to connect with this influential figure, which was definitely an excellent investment.

"This time, I'm not here to discuss the T1 Wolf Louse. I want to engage in a deeper collaboration with you." Zachary clasped his hands on the table, his eyes fixed on Leah across from him.

Collaboration? This was, of course, exactly what Leah desired.

"Do you have other starship technologies in your possession? We are willing to collaborate with you in this area, and in the future, we can even invest in your research lab and provide the best starship technology research environment!" Leah offered a series of favorable terms. She thought that the other party must have a starship technology research organization behind him. If she could recruit this starship research organization, it would undoubtedly be a great advantage for the Northern Goose Interstellar Ship Technology Group!

"I don't care about what you've said. Please listen to my collaboration requirements first. I will give you several starship technologies. But this time, it's not a buyout, but authorization. I want 70% of the profit from each starship; at the same time, I will not interfere with any details of production, transportation, or sales. All of these will be borne and managed by you. To put it bluntly, I'm just a hands-off boss." Zachary immediately stated his purpose.

70% of the profit. Leah immediately calculated. With 70% of the profit going to the other party, and all other production, manufacturing, and transportation costs borne by her, she would still get one to two percentage points of profit in the end. But as a businesswoman, Leah could not simply agree directly.

"A 70-30 split is a bit too high. And besides providing the technology, everything else is borne by us… what if…" Leah hadn't finished her negotiation tactic.

Zachary interrupted directly, "I think you are very clear about how much profit the T1 Wolf Louse has brought you. As for the starship technology I am about to give you, I am absolutely confident that it will be no worse than the T1 Wolf Louse. The terms I have offered will not be modified in any way. If Miss Leah is unwilling, then our conversation can end here."

Seeing that this man was so resolute, Leah had already weighed the pros and cons in her heart; she absolutely had to get her hands on the starship technology this man possessed!

"Could you first let me see the starship technology blueprints for this collaboration?" Leah inquired.

"You will naturally see them after signing the contract," Zachary said.

Leah was stunned; this time, the other party's negotiation was very firm, leaving her no room for retreat. In fact, Zachary had already figured this out. The T1 Wolf Louse had given Leah a taste of success, and as long as she wasn't foolish, she would definitely not give up on this collaboration plan.

"Additionally, I have some additional conditions. Although we are signing an authorized revenue-sharing contract, I require an advance payment of at least twenty million star coins in the first three months. These twenty million star coins will be deducted from the subsequent authorized revenue-sharing portion," Zachary added.

These twenty million star coins were naturally for Zachary's construction plan for these three months. His T2 Iron Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship was still there, starving, and the remaining raw material resources would only last it less than half a month!

Twenty million star coins? Hearing Zachary's exorbitant demand, Leah hesitated for a moment. So far, the direct profit the T1 Wolf Louse had brought her was less than five million star coins. To gather these twenty million star coins, it would definitely need to be transferred from the head office. But with her current prestige, it probably wouldn't be too much of a problem.

"My time is limited. I'll give you ten minutes to consider," Zachary finally gave a deadline.

Leah thought for less than half a minute before making a decision. She stared at Zachary, "I agree to all your terms."

Zachary showed a satisfied expression, "You are a smart businesswoman."

With that, Zachary raised his hand, and holographic images of four starships—one large and three small—appeared before Leah.

"Here are three T1 starships and one T2 starship. The T1 starships are a T1 Gray Rat-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer, a T1 Swift Wolf-class Light Interstellar Cruiser, and a T1 Worker Ant-class Heavy Star Mining Ship. The T2 starship is a T2 Moose-class Heavy Interstellar Transport Ship. Here are their simple introductions; the detailed starship technology blueprints will be sent to your email shortly."

These four starships were, of course, all exchanged by Zachary from the system. They cost a total of six mission points and two hundred sixty system points.

"A T2 Interstellar Transport Ship!" Leah showed a surprised expression, full of shock. She had originally thought that the starship technology the other party would give her would only be from the T1 series, but she didn't expect to receive three T1 starship technologies at once, and also the technology for a T2 Interstellar Transport Ship. Although an Interstellar Transport Ship belonged to the auxiliary starship type, its market demand was the highest. Because interstellar trade required Interstellar Transport Ships, an excellent Interstellar Transport Ship was indispensable for battlefield needs, territory operations, or interstellar trade transportation.

And after Leah finished reading the introductions of these starships, her eyes glowed with fervor; this was definitely a sure-fire, profitable deal!

"Sir…" Leah just looked up, but found that the seat opposite was already empty.

This time, she still didn't know the man's name. But she also developed a strong curiosity about this man, who continuously produced so many T1 starship technologies, and even a T2 starship technology.

It seemed she would have to find time to ask her younger brother about this mysterious person.
