"Raven, do you want to have a bath? I saw one by the streamside. It was really good!" Thyrian said, and I looked up at him.
Really, I shouldn't be resting now. I should be finding Kael before things get out of hand. My eyes turned cold.
"I'm sor—"
"We haven't had a proper vacation yet. When we aren't caught up helping the tribe, then it's that Beastman. I feel like this isn't a vacation, just more work. I was excited because I wanted to spend more time with you, but I don't know anymore!" Thyrian said softly, and my eyes relaxed.
His words... they were right. I haven't once focused on them. I was slacking, focusing on helping others way too much and trying to catch Kael again. I have neglected them time and time again.
I sighed and buried my head in my thighs.
"I'm so sorry, guys!" I replied and burst into tears. "It's just... this vacation has been draining. Everything is just a mystery and..."
"It's okay!" Veyra said, gently patting my back as I hiccuped, still crying.
