Scene 1: Alya & Aiman
A quiet evening. Alya finally gathers the courage to ask Aiman out.
Alya:
"I've been thinking… we've known each other for two months now."
Aiman:
"Yeah… and?"
Alya (softly):
"Do you want to go out with me? Just once… as a proper date."
Aiman (hesitant):
"I'm sorry, Alya… I have too much work lately. I can't commit to anything right now."
Alya (forcing a smile):
"It's okay… I understand."
Aiman (looking away):
"It's not you. Really. It's just… not the right time."
Alya (whispering):
"There's never a right time for someone who doesn't choose you…"
Aiman:
"What did you say?"
Alya:
"Nothing. Forget it."
Scene 2: Nadia & Aiman
Nadia sends a follow-up message after realizing she mistakenly sent something personal before.
Nadia:
"Hey… about yesterday. That message was sent by mistake."
Aiman:
"I figured. But it sounded… honest."
Nadia (nervous):
"Honest?"
Aiman:
"Yeah. Like you weren't hiding behind your usual words."
Nadia:
"I didn't mean for you to read it."
Aiman (calm, slightly teasing):
"But I did."
Nadia:
"So you're just going to ignore it, right?"
(a pause)
Aiman:
"I didn't say that."
Nadia (softly):
"Then what are you saying?"
Aiman:
"I'm saying… maybe it wasn't a mistake. Maybe it meant something.".
