**THE DAY HE BECAME EVERYTHING***

The house felt different.

Too quiet

Too empty

Too ynfamiliar.

Aiman stood at the doorwing foe along time before stepping inside

This used to be home.

Now it felt like a place filled with echaes.

Every corner reminded him of something.

His mother voice from the kitchen.

His father laught from the living room.

Aina footstep running across the hallway.

Everything was still there.

"Aiman..."

Aina voice sounded small.

Fragile.

She stood near the staircase,holding her school bag tightly.

"Are we ...still going school tomorrow?"

She already understand.

Chilldren always understand faster than adult think.

She was asking something else.

"Are we still okay?"

"Are we still here?"

"Are we still safe?"

Amin forced a small smile.

"Yes:

He voice was calm.

"You still have go to school like usual".

Aina nodded slowly.

"But...what about you?"

I'll be fine.

Aiman wasn't sleep.

He sat alone at the dining table.

Looking at unpaid bills.

School document,

Insurance papers,

Bank statments,

Number,

Is too many number.

Responsobility.

Too many responsibility.

He only twenty two.

But suddently'

He had become everything.

A brother,

A guardian,

A father,

Amother,

All at once.

Near midnight

Aina walked downstair quietly.

She thought Aiman didn't noticed.

Aiman always noticed

Silent.

Than slowly'

She placed something on the table.

A folded pieces of papers.

Aiman opened it slowly.

It was her school drawing.

It is a simple picture.

Three people holding hand.

Her,

Aiman,

And a blank figure beside them.

"Who is this?"Aiman asked gently.

Aina answering without hesitation.

"That you".

Aiman blinkex.

"But i'm already here?

Aina shook her head slowly.

"No".

"You're going to stand there now"

She pointed at the empty space between them.

The place where yhier parents used to be.

Something inside Aiman tightened.

Not pain

Not sadness

Something deeper than both.

Responsibility.

Love,

And a promise that become havier than his own life.

That night

Aiman didn't cry.

Hd simply folded the drawing carefully.

And kept it inside his wallet.

Close to the heart.

Where it would stay.

For the rest of his life.
