It was early in the morning and Ren took a bath. He grabbed his favorite shirt and shorts to wear in his awakening ceremony. It was his birthday indeed and they would celebrate later in the dinner. But for now, they had to go to the Awakening Halls on his 4th birthday.
"Happy birthday son! Hope you will get an amazing class!" Mills told him.
"You will I am sure!" Mia added.
They went to pack for their visit in the awakening halls and then grabbed a taxi to get them there.
While traveling, they saw the walls of the city and the awakening halls nearby. They even broadcast the streams of the heroes fighting right now.
Ren watched and saw that it was the Dragonoid Hero fighting the Chaos Knight Hero.
On the TV screen, the broadcaster was filming the battle and the battle was intense.
They all saw that it was nearby and the fight was destructive in the surroundings.
Ren watched and saw that the Dragon Knight was in his scaled armor. Meanwhile the Knight was in his Knightly plated armor.
The two fought and were on par with each other.
The Dragonoid Hero flapped his wings and breathed fire. The Chaos Knight Villain evaded the breathe and slashed with his sword. A dark slash extended from his sword and struck the Dragonoid.
To their surprise, he was safe but few scales were dropping from his body.
It was a grueling fight. The Dragonoid hero then went to attack.
"Go Dragonoid Hero! Go! Defeat him!" The spectators shouted. Mostly were kids and youths.
They gave cheers to their hero that was fighting. And it gave him strength. They all went to have their skin hair rose from skins. A feeling that was normal when you were on edge.
The Dragonoid Hero roared. Sending a shock wave to the nearby area. Then he attacked. "I will defeat you!" He roared then dove right through the enemy.
The Chaos Knight then slashed. "Chaos Slash!" A great rift was made and he immediately made the Dragonoid struck with his slash.
Boom!
Dusts were made and then from it, emerged the Dragonoid. He was having scratches and damage from his scales but he was safe. He immediately punched him on the chest and it landed.
The two clashed. The Dragonoid punched and punched and then blocked the sword of the Chaos Knight. Sparks were made and they went attacking faster.
The Dragonoid hero versus the Chaos Knight in close combat. The Dragonoid then used Ember Aura and it made the ground burn.
The Chaos Knight then also used his Chaos Aura. The two went burning each other.
Only the most resilient will win.
But then, the Dragonoid Hero disarmed the Chaos Knight's sword. It became a fist fight.
The two went punching each other's faces.
Making the dents on their armors.
The Dragonoid hero punched and the ground reverberated. Same with the Chaos Knight. Each punch made the surroundings shake and emitted shockwaves.
The Dragonoid Hero made a fire breathe in close distance and the Chaos Knight blocked it with his bracers. The Chaos Knight then dashed and grabbed the Dragonoid on the neck and he choked him.
Making him kick on the chest to make him let go. The Dragonoid hero gasped air as he breathed deep. He knelt for a few seconds then stood up.
"Hmmm, is that all? Is that the Dragonoid Hero that the Villains feared? I say he is weak and trash!" The Chaos Knight proclaimed for all to see and hear.
The spectators then shouted, "Go Dragonoid! You are our hero! Don't listen to his ramblings and Defeat him!"
"Yeah!" The spectators cheered and chanted his name.
They made him have strength again. A powerful surge of energy was felt. He immediately recast his scale armor and then his scales regrew. Making him more formidable and harder scales were seen.
"Dragon Roar!" He yelled and a gust of shockwave was seen spiraling towards the Chaos Knight.
"Hell nova!" His breathe became hotter and hotter. They saw that the surroundings burned.
Then they saw that the Chaos Knight was bashed by his punch and was flung towards the building.
The spectators cheered and saw that their favorite hero won. Ren also went cheering and they all rejoiced for his victory.
"Yes! Hero Dragonoid is the best!" He commented.
The Dragonoid hero then lifted his fist and shouted a victor's shout. The streamer then also shouted and then got many likes and gifts. He also said "Support Dragonoid Hero! By giving gifts to this account!"
Ren then watched the news and it was all about the Hero who made some contributions to Villain Hunting. The top hero for the day was Might, he punched the enemy with only one punch. As for his class, he was a Brawler. A class that was boasting for its explosive strength. Also an SSS class tier. The number 1 Hero!
Ren then thought what his class would possibly be. He was excited and his heart raced like never before. He wanted to be a strong hero. And all that will make him enter the Hero Academy.
They immediately went to the awakening halls and arrived on time. It was noon and the sun was strikingly hot. They went to the Hero Awakening Halls and it got the banner of the Hero Association.
Heroes will awaken in the age of 4 and then their potential was cultivated in the academy. Where teachers were all hands-on in their teachings for their students.
They will have training on how to become a proper hero there. They entered and the Awakening Halls staff were there waiting.
They all went inside and saw a spacious space inside.
They inquired on the front desk and Mills asked, "We would like to request for our son's awakening."
The female clerk then told them, "Please wait ma'am and sir, we will start in a few minutes."
They sat in the chairs as they waited for the time of awakening. Making Ren to wait patiently, but deep inside, he could not wait anymore.
