"You...like me too?" Sarah was in disbelief. She stuttered and looked at me.
Like I just said it will rain gold tomorrow.
Goodluck getting bumps with that if it turns out real.
But anyways.
Yeah. That's that. I just confessed.
But before everyone spiral out of commission I added something to it too. Since I'm being honest anyways.
"I was mad at you for hurting her. That's why I kept adding jabs to everything I say, when it involves you Gino." I met his stare, and this time he was the one who looked away.
"I didn't...know..thought you two were just close." He said running a hand through his hair.
"Oi, don't get the wrong idea. I said I like her not that I will be pursuing her. Don't be too stressed out. I'm not your rival." I said bluntly.
I saw how Sarah's expression changed from blushing to disappointment.
That made me quite taken aback. Does she want me to keep pursuing her while she's already in a relationship with Gino?
Or maybe I'm just overreacting since, I've been emotionally worked up.
"So, let me get this straight. You just like Sarah. And won't do anything more to address that feeling?" Gino said, leaning forward.
"Yeah. So relax dude. I respect boundaries and I'm not one who wreck relationships up. Tempted or not. And I'll just archive that feeling. It's just starting anyways. Will move one soon enough?" I said casually.
Well, it wasn't a lie. I'm just in the heat of the moment. Too hot to think straight.
I'll give myself time and I'll be fine. It might not be soon, but I'll eventually get there.
Cynthia om the other hand finished filling out the form and handed it back to me.
"It's done." She said.
She was not meeting my gaze. At all. And I know that gesture. It's someone who felt like an outcast.
And I'm not letting her feel that way since she's part of the club now.

"Welcome to the club, Cynthia." I offered my hand for a shake and smiled.
Cynthia took it and smiled back and I made sure she's feeling welcomed.
But Sarah got other plans for her welcome party.
"Now that she's part of the club. We will be seeing each other everyday. And I don't want any grudges left unsettled. Why don't we talk about it. Now that Anthony started opening up." Sarah gave her speech like she's taking advantage of the situation.
Gino agreed and Cynthia too.
Well, works fine with me. Since the issue about what happened between Cynthia and Gino will finally be closed.
And I'm not petty enough to open a closed page.
Despite being petty once.
But...I shrugged it off.
"Speak first, Sarah. It seems you have something you been keeping since yesterday." I looked at her, with a challenging look.
Telling her to speak up, since you wanted this open forum that much.
Sarah didn't expect me to throw it back at her and she fidgeted a bit before settling back to her chair.
"O-Okay. So, Cynthia. Why did you intend to get close to Gino when you heard me saying, he's family have influence in the school. Your family's well off too. So you're not a gold digger." Sarah didn't even hold back with her words.
Didn't know she had such sharp tongue.
Cynthia met her gaze. And smiled.
Oh this is good. The tension, the gentle girl vs the outspoken one.
Millien? His at home if your wondering why there's no extra commentary. He would have been entertained by this.
"It's because, I thought, if I'm in a relationship with him, I can have my college life elevated. But that was a mistake. I was drawn to his status and popularity. That was all. After things happened and I got to witness him handle the situation. Which was truthfully one sided. I regretted it. It was a mistake. And I'm sorry." Cynthia said with honesty.
And just to be sure everyone's being honest, I used my skill and it tagged Cynthia's statement with [TRUTH].
Gino was dumbfounded. He never thought he would hear someone says she regretted to ever thought about being in a relationship with him.
I just sat there. Poker face on. And deep inside I was cheering for Cynthia.
Tang ina! How badass was that? Telling the truth while regretting it and apologizing for ever having that thought alone.
Makes sense too. Since her little thought fueled Maricar's possession over her. She handed her the key to use her body.
Sarah was also kind of frustrated. Like she wasn't expecting Cynthia to be blunt a out it.
She was expecting Cynthia to defend herself, not accept and apologized for it.
"I see.... So, how about now? No feelings for Gino?" Sarah continued.
And I'm sure she's trying to put Cynthia on a tight spot.
But the latter wasn't giving Sarah the satisfaction of cornering her.
"No. None at all. Let's just say, I was hoping he'll think about my situation. But then again, I was glad my parents was firm enough to not involve Gino at all. If what happened between us would get me pregnant."
Another blunt truth.
And somehow I felt awkward. We're students not even twenty but the topic was heavy.
I cleared my throat and intervened.
"Well that part's been settled. Gino wouldn't be involve whatever the outcome is. So, what did your parents say?" I redirected the topic. But not too far away from the current one.
"I'll be having a check up next week. And by then we will know. I'll also be going together with the maid." She said casually, like it wasn't life changing facts.
I nodded and tapped my desk. Since both Gino and Sarah were now silent.
"Then this issue is now close. Sarah and I are relieved that you both won't be too affected by our relationship." Gino said trying to break the ice.
"Of course. You both have my blessing. I won't interfere. I'm not a rival at all. We're friends." I smiled widely, showing that I'm genuine about it.
"Me too. I'm not gonna be going after Gino. I won't feel isolated since Anthony's here too." Cynthia smiled too and looked at me.
Somehow, that made things quite interesting.
