Yichen had a very bad dream about Rose, he rushed from the bed.
And ran.
For the first time in his life - he ran without thinking.
When he reached the garden that morning, he saw something that made his heart stop.
A note.
Place beside the plant they had planted together.
His hands trembled as he opened it.
"I was waiting for you.
I wanted to tell you....
I like you.
Maybe more than I should.
But I guess some flowers bloom at the wrong time.
- Rose"
Yichen's chest tightened.
"No..." He whispered.
He ran to her house.
Empty.
He ran to the airport.
Too late.
The plane had already taken off. And for the first time -
Yichen felt what he had been avoiding all along.
He returned to the garden.
Sat next to the plant they had grown together.
He broke down in tears for the very first time.
He blamed himself, for avoiding her.
He regretted wasting time, which he had been used for making more beautiful memories with her.
That garden held memories of them, which made him more emotional.
Which him miss her more.
He wasn't late by minutes....he was late by courage.
