Sienna looked at him, a little hesitant this time. “Can I know your name?” she asked. 

Zachary glanced at her briefly.

Then he said simply, “I already saved it on your phone.”

Sienna's eyes widened slightly as she quickly glanced at the screen.

'Huh? Why does his name sound like Zachary Sterling?' She chuckled to herself. 'Nah, probably just a coincidence that their names are similar.'

“See you later, Zach…” 

Before he could respond, she turned and hurried toward the conference room on the other side of the lobby, her steps quick and purposeful.

Zachary didn’t move.

He stood there, watching her retreating figure as she disappeared into the distance.

The faint echo of her voice lingered in his mind.

'Zach—'

It wasn’t a name people around him used lightly, especially not with him standing before them.

For a brief moment, he remained still, his gaze fixed on the space where she had just been.

Then, slowly, he shifted his attention forward again.

But something felt… different.

And he couldn’t quite explain why.

The next day, at Secret Garden Cafe and Resto, Mia sat with Sienna and Ava in the office when she came across an interesting news story on her phone. After reading the article, she couldn't help muttering in disbelief.


"Geez... Riley is actually in a relationship with Jessica. A romantic relationship! Who would've thought…"


She closed the news link and slipped her phone into her pocket, then looked at Sienna and Ava, who were sitting across from her. Seeing how relaxed they both seemed, Mia gave them a wry smile.


"Girls, it's unusual to see you two so calm about all the hot gossip going around."


Ava glanced at her with a faint smile. "Come on, Mia, stop believing everything you read on the internet, especially gossip."


"I try not to," Mia replied with a deep sigh. "But this one is not gossip. It came directly from Jessica's mouth, in her interview with the media. She admitted it herself. Apparently, she was in a relationship with Riley."
