Maya's eyes immediately became wet when she heard Sienna's voice. She didn't hesitate before stepping forward and pulling her niece into a warm embrace.
Sienna wrapped her arms around Maya just as tightly, finally allowing herself to feel the emotions she had been holding back.
"My dear Sienna, I've missed you so much," Maya said, gently and quickly hugging her for a few seconds as tears slipped from her eyes. "You've grown even more beautiful since the last time I saw you."
"I missed you too, Aunty," Sienna replied softly. "I really wanted to come and see you and Uncle sooner, but I had so many things to deal with."
Jimmy stood closely behind his wife with a warm smile, his eyes showing how grateful and happy he was to see his niece again. "We all missed you too, Sienna. We've been waiting for you to visit us."
Sienna pulled back slightly and looked at him with a smile. "I'm sorry it took me so long to come here, Uncle."
