Zachary glanced at her with an amused expression. "Don't get too generous. He's still just a customer who must pay for the food and drinks plus the service."
"Hahaha, yeah. Still, he's a very generous customer."
His expression softened immediately, and he reached over to squeeze her hand when the traffic allowed.
"That's better. Let the customer be generous toward your business, not the other way around."
Sienna laughed softly, enjoying how easily his mood could change. The earlier tension around Riley gradually faded as they kept talking about the restaurant, the opening, the staff, and everything they needed to prepare for the coming days.
