Zachary still didn't answer. His eyes remained stubbornly closed, as though pretending not to hear it.
"What time did you go to bed last night?" She asked.
The concern in her voice was impossible to miss. She couldn't stop thinking about the articles and everything he had done for her last night.
Finally, Zachary's eyelids slowly lifted. He looked down at her with a sleepy smile that somehow made him seem less like the intimidating CEO of Sterling Capital and more like an ordinary husband who simply wanted a few more minutes in bed with his wife.
"I didn't check, but when I return, you've already fallen asleep."
Sienna could clearly see the tiredness in his eyes. She drew her head closer to him and lightly stole a kiss on his lips.
Zachary was a bit taken aback by the stolen kiss, as if it were the first time such a thing had ever happened. His eyes narrowed slightly, almost as if he was asking, "Wow! What was that kiss for?"
